SAPP-PYCC at the AYLMF 2026

The San Antonio de Padua Parish – Parish Youth Coordinating Council (SAPP-PYCC) proudly participated in the Archdiocesan Youth Leaders and Ministers Forum (AYLMF) on Political Education held on August 22, 2026, at Abp. Tuquib Hall, St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral Compound.

With the theme centered on responsible citizenship and meaningful participation in the democratic process, the forum gathered youth leaders and ministers to deepen their understanding of responsible voting, discernment, accountability, and the role of young people in building communities rooted in truth, justice, integrity, and the common good.

We are deeply grateful for the support and guidance of our Parish Priest, Fr. Jun Balsamo, and our PYCC Priest-in-Charge, Fr. Roger Almonia, who continue to encourage and accompany us in our journey of faith and service.

May we, as young people, continue to be informed, discerning, and responsible citizens, using our voices and participation to help shape a better community.

Look || The Vicariate Youth Coordinating Council (VYCC) recently held its regular monthly meeting at the San Antonio de Padua Parish in Nazareth.

The gathering focused on exciting future plans across the vicariate, strengthening collaborations among parishes, and sharing key updates for the upcoming World Youth Day (WYD), National Youth Day (NYD), and Archdiocesan Youth Day (AYD).

The VYCC extends its heartiest gratitude to the Parish Priest of San Antonio de Padua Parish, Rev. Fr. Jun Balsamo, SSJV, and Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia, SSJV, for their warm hospitality and support.

With joyful and grateful hearts, we proudly congratulate the representatives of San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth — 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗢𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻, and 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘀 — for successfully completing the 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 held at the 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗻𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 at San Jose de Mindanao Seminary Compound, Camaman-an Hills, Cagayan de Oro City.

The Youth Encounter served as a beautiful opportunity for young people to pause, reflect, and deepen their personal relationship with God. Through meaningful talks, prayer moments, group activities, and personal sharing, the participants experienced spiritual renewal and a stronger sense of purpose in their journey of faith.

We also express our sincere gratitude to our Parish Priest, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 “𝗝𝘂𝗻” 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗝𝗿., 𝗦𝗦𝗝𝗩, for his continued support and encouragement to the parish youth. Your guidance inspires young people to become active witnesses of Christ and committed servants of the Church.

May this encounter continue to bear fruit in their hearts as they move forward with renewed faith, strengthened spirit, and a deeper desire to follow the Lord.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Oath-Taking of SAP–PYCC

On the 5th Sunday of Easter, the newly elected officers of the San Antonio de Padua Parish–Parish Youth Coordinating Council solemnly took their Oath of Office, marking the beginning of their mission and service to the parish youth.

The ceremony was presided over and blessed by Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia, Youth Priest-in-Charge, entrusting the new set of leaders to God’s guidance as they take on their responsibilities.

Through your confidence, joy, and devotion, you honored the Holy Child, Señor Santo Niño, and inspired our community with faith and unity. Thank you for being a radiant expression of youthful service and love for Christ. 𝗩𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗣𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗲ñ𝗼𝗿!

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Our heartfelt gratitude to the Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) of San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth for joyfully and tirelessly leading the Sinulog dances in honor of the Holy Child, Señor Santo Niño. Through your energy, dedication, and faith, you helped the parish community offer a beautiful expression of love and devotion to Jesus.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Roberto Balsamo Jr., and our Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia, for their guidance, support, and encouragement, as well as to the entire parish community for joining and supporting this meaningful celebration.
