A historic moment in our vicariate life: the first‑ever St. John Vianney vicariate clergy monthly meeting, held today this morning in Gran Europa.

Our priests gathered in prayer, fraternity, and pastoral reflection, beginning a new rhythm of monthly meetings that will strengthen collaboration and care for our parishes and communities.

Guided by the Holy Spirit, our clergy continue to journey together in unity, working to build a Church that is more present, compassionate, and missionary in serving the faithful.

We ask for your continued prayers for the fruits of their meetings and for God’s blessings on all our priests and their ministries.

Thursday’s reflection🙏🏻

“O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me.” — John 17:20–26

Jesus’ prayer shows his heart for unity rooted in truth and love.

He prays not only for his close followers but for all who will believe through their witness.

When we live as Christ’s friends—marked by prayer, humility, and service—we participate in that knowing: a relationship with the Father revealed in Jesus.

Our unity then becomes a visible sign that God has been sent into the world.

Today, ask: how does my life point others to the Father?

Let your words, actions, and prayer draw people toward the loving truth of Christ.

The sunflowers bloomed bright and then withered—beautiful, and not meant to last.

They remind us that life isn’t meant to be permanent.

Let this teach us to be present: notice and give thanks today.

“Consider how the wild flowers grow…not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” — Luke 12:27

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the beauty that comes and goes.
Help us to notice the small gifts of each day, accept their passing with gratitude, and live fully in the present.
Teach us to trust your presence when things fade.

Today’s Gospel and the Ascension remind us that Jesus does not abandon His people; He lifts our hearts to heaven and sends us out with a mission of hope and witness.

As we celebrate this, may our youth be especially blessed with faith, courage, purity of heart, and the joy of following Christ in today’s world.

May the Lord grant our young people wisdom in their choices, strength in their struggles, and a living desire to serve God and others with generosity.

Like the disciples, may they look up to heaven with trust, but also move forward with purpose, carrying Christ’s light wherever they go.
