I stood behind a tiny table at Cagayanime and realized something huge: a single page can change everything.

Ever asked where to begin making comics? I used to ask that question for 20 years. Then I made Zamora. Then people, young creators from our city, asked me the same question. Suddenly my book wasn’t just my story. It became proof.

Start small. One panel. One page. Put it somewhere people can see it. Repeat. That’s how Zamora became a book, a booth, and, unexpectedly, a spark for others.

The first print failed.

Yep, the sample looked perfect, then 29 copies arrived way too dark.

Nightmare fuel.

So I relit 100 pages, fixed the Lorebook layout, and sent the files back.

Sleep? Optional. Determination? Mandatory.

But here’s the thing: finishing the art was only the first boss battle. The real fight is pricing, packaging, and getting people a low-risk way into Zamora’s world. That’s why I’m building a price ladder for Cagayanime. Some numbers use charm pricing; some are clean and premium. It’s not trickery, it’s giving people choices.

Coming to Cagayanime? Find me at Booth M03, hopefully with the corrected Zamora Volume 1 (fingers crossed).
