Crossfi
re International is a network of local, national, and international youth and young adult ministries. Crossfire International establishes and maintains effective youth and young adult ministries within churches globally. Crossfire International partners with pastors, churches, ministries, and ministry leaders in schools, and universities providing a complete ministry structure including cell groups, cell lessons, leadership training, camps, evangelistic outreaches, crusades, apostolic oversight, and ongoing apostolic missions trips to our ministries, and new locations around the world. Crossfire International grew out of a local youth and young adult ministry, Crossfire that was started by Pastor Joe Dewhurst 14 years ago out of Judah Christian Community church. When Pastor Joe first began Crossfire years ago in this local church in Ohio, he knew God had called him to do more than just entertain young people, rather the call of God on Crossfire was to create an environment where young people could experience the power of God, find salvation through Christ, be discipled to live holy, then be trained to be leaders. Pastor Joe has traveled now to 52 different countries, during several of the early missions trips pastors and leaders expressed a desire for more effective ways of reaching youth and young adults, and began to invite Pastor Joe and teams of leaders to establish Crossfire within their churches and ministries, this is how Crossfire International was born. Crossfire International is now reaching out to thousands of youth and young adults world wide weekly through our cell groups, camps, evangelistic crusades, leadership training and apostolic missions trips. We have seen recent expansion in the middle east, and are active within churches in eight 10/40 window nations, among many other locations worldwide. Within the last year and a half we have received testimonies of appoximately 4000 young people accepting christ, as well as hundreds being trained and placed into positions of leadership. Crossfire International in addition, sends out weekly cell lessons, training materials, d.v.d's, and manuals to our leaders around the world, where they are translated into eight languages, and forwarded to our on the ground leaders. Through our Crossfire ministries in these churches we also minister to human trafficking victims in Thailand, drug and alcohol addicts in central america, as well as feeding and clothing programs in east africa and philippines
Crossfire International is directed by Pastor Joe Dewhurst president and founder, as well as a dedicated board of directors. Crossfire International has a 501 c3. Some of our upcoming Apostolic trips for 2012 and 2013 are El Salvador, Guatemala, and Hondurous October 2012. Thailand Laus, Philippines Spring 2013, and were looking at the possibly of Pakistan for fall of 2013. During these trips we will lead Crossfire youth and young adult camps and crusades, present the ministry to interested pastors and leaders, as well as set up Crossfire in new churches and train new leaders.
