Diocesan Youth Orientation Program 2024 (DYOP)

The Diocesan Youth Orientation Program reached its fifth phase with resounding success, hosted at Baikingon Parish on April 28, 2024!

In addition to the Parish Empowerment And Commitment Enhancement (PEACE) education campaign organized by the diocese and the sector, the DYOP stands out as a significant highlight of this year's educational campaign for all YIFI CDO members.

Recognizing the significance of this orientation, the Diocesan Youth Organization has made it a prerequisite for the upcoming Diocesan Youth Camp.

We extend our congratulations to the YIFI Iponan Cluster for their active participation in the aforementioned orientation.

Padayon YIFI! We express our gratitude for the dedication of YIFI Iponan Cluster Representative Kimberly Kate Canoy, DYEC Officers, as well as all Parish Youth Presidents and Officers for leading the cluster's youth initiatives.

We would also extend our gratitude to the Parish Priests within the cluster led by Fr. Greggy Yacapin for their tremendous support. Special thanks to IFI Baikingon and YIFI Baikingon under the leadership of our DYEC Officer for their gracious hospitality. And a heartfelt appreciation goes to our Diocesan Bishop, the Rt. Rev'd Felixberto L. Calang, for entrusting us with the empowerment to conduct such programs.

The TCR shares a news story about the Ecojustice Farms project, a collaboration between the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (IFI) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Northern Germany (ELCNG).

The article features the project's launch during a two-day National Consultation on February 19-20, 2024, and the Diocesan Planning and Stakeholder Engagement in partner dioceses Northern Isabela and Dagupan.

It also explains how the project uses the Filipino folk song "bahay kubo" as an agricultural model for community gardening to emphasize biodiverse agricultural production.

The Ecojustice Farm project aims to develop climate justice advocates from IFI communities through engagement and participation to Filipino traditional sustainable agricultural practices.

Session 9 - Q2 Lesson 3 - Three Sectors

The 9th session of Sunday School 2024 had their first topic in Q2 which is the 3 sectors namely: LIFI, WOPIC & YIFI.

We would like to thank the YIFI Iponan especially to the Teachers namely: Arnie Elaiza Branzuela, Lani Mabaylan & Kent Ruel Delastrico; and the YIFI Iponan Facilitators for helping to assist the kids on this said activity โ™ฅ๏ธ.
