My dear brothers and sisters,

The song “Ancestor’s Plea” teaches a powerful truth: those who came before us are not gone. They are near. They watch over us. And many of them are waiting—sometimes for years, sometimes for generations—for someone who will finally remember their name.

The song is written from the perspective of an ancestor beyond the veil.

They urgently plead for help, not for earthly blessings, but for saving ordinances that only living family members can perform. Their message is simple:

“Please find me. Please remember me. Please bring my name to the temple so I can move forward.”

The Invitation to Act

“You (the living) are the one who can do this. You are the chosen generation.”

It encourages the listener to act:

Open records

Search family lines

Receive spiritual help

Take names to the temple

Rescue their ancestors who depend on them

Our hope for this song is to spread the spirit of Elijah with all who will listen! Will you help us spread the spirit of Elijah by sharing this song with you...

"We Are One in Christ"
As part of the goals of the Macahan Ward, the Saints acted on their faith to help God’s children—both on this side and beyond the veil. The ministering activity, facilitated by Brother Jason Dumanjug, inspired members to reach out in love and unity.

The family history meeting, facilitated by Sister Shayne Remadavia, brought together the organizational leaders—including the Elders Quorum President, Relief Society President, Youth Leader, their Second Counselors, and the YSA Representatives—to strengthen efforts in temple and family history work. During the meeting, they shared insights, plans, and testimonies on how to involve more members in connecting families across generations. The discussion emphasized that family history is not just about records, but about love, eternal bonds, and covenant connections.

We are grateful for the efforts and dedication of the members who shared their time, talents, and testimonies in building God’s kingdom. Truly, we are one in Christ as we serve together in faith and love.

Therefore, continue in your journey and let your hearts rejoice; for behold, and lo, I am with you even unto the end.”

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Macanhan Ward Youth activity yesterday such a success! We had a productive day of ministering, reporting, learning about emergency preparations, planning for our next activity, practicing for the Christmas presentation, and even got some family history work done. The devotional is so inspiring. So many great memories made!

Last October 19, 2025, the Macahan Ward joyfully conducted its FLRM activity. The missionaries inspired the members through training and guided them in applying what they learned by reaching out to others. Together, members and missionaries visited returning members, extending Christlike love and reminding them of their divine worth.

Truly, as the Savior taught, “Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.” (Luke 15:6) Through this inspired work, hearts were touched, faith was strengthened, and the spirit of unity and service filled the ward. 🕊️💛
