Many parables and symbols are used to describe God's works in the Bible.

Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?

God’s history progresses with time, so you have to know what time period you’re living in. When you know, only then can you live following God’s Will for that period and receive the salvation of that time.

Our belief in God and Jesus is not enough to live a life of faith if we fail to understand the times.
