𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Joyful highlights from the celebration of the Feast of San Isidro Labrador held on May 14–15, 2026, in the chapel communities of Upper Calacapan, Lower Calacapan, Bontula, and Moloypoloy.

The faithful gathered in prayer, thanksgiving, and fellowship as each community honored San Isidro Labrador, the patron saint of farmers, in a vibrant celebration of faith and unity.

𝐒𝐭. 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council of the Immaculate Conception Parish of Aluba, represented by Angel Eve Adis, Paul Joshua Galban, Angel Lovern Serojales, Chimvie Quibol, and Mikko Dolar, successfully participated in the 3-day Youth Encounter Retreat organized under the St. Philomena Vicariate activity last May 15–17, 2026, held at Cardinal Hoffner's House of Prayer within the San Jose de Mindanao Seminary compound.

The retreat became a meaningful encounter with the Lord, strengthening the youth’s faith and personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual formation. It also gave each participant the opportunity to appreciate the value of silence and attentively listen to God’s voice in moments of prayer and reflection.

Through this experience, the participants were inspired to continue serving with humility, dedication, and renewed passion as active young servants of the Church, bringing faith, hope, and love to their fellow youth and parish community.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Feast of Our Lady of Fatima

In celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Hubertus Aditya Prabowo, SCJ, presided over the fiesta mass at Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, Elena Homes. The mass was attended by the community and devotees, showing their faith and love for Our Lady of Fatima.

Today, May 9, 2026, the Immaculate Conception Parish of Aluba successfully conducted its Parish Pastoral Assembly 2026, attended by ministry heads and members, parish leaders, and representatives from the different chapels of the parish.

Centered on this year’s theme, “𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮,” the assembly reminded everyone that the mission of the Church does not end within the walls of the parish, but continues in every home and family. As one faith community, we are called to become instruments of Christ’s presence by strengthening families through prayer, service, unity, and active participation in parish life.

The gathering became a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our pastoral mission, strengthen collaboration among ministries and chapel communities, and renew our commitment to helping families grow deeper in faith and discipleship.

We also acknowledge and express heartfelt gratitude for the guidance and pastoral leadership of Rev. Fr. John Karl Y. Cabaluna, SCJ, Parish Priest, together with Rev. Fr. Hubertus Aditya Prabowo, SCJ, Parish Vicar, whose support and dedication continue to inspire the parish in fulfilling its mission of evangelization and service.

Cabantan, D.D., clarifies that Ucat is not a priest of the Roman Catholic Church and has no affiliation with the Archdiocese or any recognized ecclesiastical jurisdiction. The faithful are urged to exercise prudence and vigilance, as sacraments administered by unauthorized individuals may be invalid.

The Archdiocese calls on parishes, schools, and communities to verify clergy identity, report suspicious activities, and seek sacraments only from authorized priests, safeguarding the integrity of the faith and protecting the faithful from deception.
