β€œWhen I called, You answered me; You greatly strengthened me.” Psalm 138:3

There are moments when our hearts feel tired, uncertain, and overwhelmed. But this verse reminds us that God hears when we call. His answer may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but He never ignores a sincere prayer.

Sometimes, His greatest answer is not changing the situation; it is giving us strength to face it.

Call on Him. Trust Him. He will give you the strength you need for today. πŸ™πŸ’š

Pamalandong: Mateo 14:27

Let us not be a prideful Listener...

A must read..

"Nakakapagod magsulat."
"Pwede bang Bible reading na lang?"
"Nadadagdagan lang yung oras... marami pa akong gagawin."
Alam mo, ganyan din ako dati. To be honest, there were times na ginagawa ko lang ang journaling dahil may magche-check during our Bible study.
But as the years went by, I finally understood why our pastors and leaders keep encouraging us to journal.
Hindi pala ito tungkol sa pagsusulat. It's about allowing God's Word to leave a deeper mark in your heart.
Hindi naman naging perfect ang journaling ko, but here are some things God taught me through it:
1. Journaling slows me down - Minsan kasi sobrang bilis nating magbasa ng Bible na parang gusto lang nating matapos ang chapter. Pero kapag nagsusulat ka, napapahinto ka. You begin to meditate instead of just reading.
2. It helps me remember what God has been teaching me - There were times that I read some of my old journals.
Sometimes, we overlooked God's faithfulness. But journaling reminds us that He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
4. It trains me to listen, not just to read - Bible reading asks, "What did I read?" But journaling asks, "What is God saying to me?"
Magkaiba pala iyon. Because Christianity is not just about gaining information. It's about building intimacy with God. Because you feel that His word is always alive!
5. One day, your journal may become someone else's encouragement - Maybe for your future family. Maybe for the people you'll disciple. Or for yourself during seasons when you begin to question God's faithfulness.
Your journal becomes a testimony that says,
"God has always been here." 🀍
Looking back, I'm grateful our pastors never stopped reminding us.
What I once thought was an additional task became one of the habits that deepened my walk with God. Specially during tough seasons.
So if you're someone who finds journaling difficult, don't pressure yourself to write perfectly.
Hindi naman paramihan ng sulat.
Hindi rin pagandahan ng notebook.
Just write what God is teaching you today.
Years from now, you'll thank God that you did.
