𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community joyfully gathered in faith and thanksgiving as we celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. With hearts united in prayer, we rejoiced in the birth of Mary, the Mother of God, whose life became a beautiful instrument in God’s plan of salvation.

The Holy Masses were presided over by Rev. Fr. Roberto “Jun” Balsamo Jr., SSJV, and Rev. Fr. Mario Valmorida, SSJV, who together with the faithful, offered prayers of thanksgiving for the gift and example of the Blessed Mother.

In the early morning of September 8, the parishioners of San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth gathered in joyful prayer for a Mananita in celebration of the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

READ | On September 04, 2026, the San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth will have this monthly gathering in prayerful reverence for the Alliance of Two Hearts First Friday Devotion. The evening began with the Holy Rosary at 5:00 PM, followed by the Holy Mass at 5:30 PM, presided over by Rev. Fr. Roberto Balsamo Jr., SSJV.

This monthly devotion, rooted in love and reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, continues to inspire deeper faith and commitment within the parish community. As we honor the united hearts of Jesus and Mary, may we grow in love, purity, and devotion, walking always in the grace through prayer.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Feast of St. Augustine
The San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community joyfully joins the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro in celebrating the Feast of St. Augustine, our archdiocesan patron and a model of conversion, wisdom, and unwavering love for God.

As part of the local celebration, the parish community gathered in prayer and thanksgiving through the Holy Eucharist, with separate Masses presided over by Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia and Rev. Fr. Roberto “Jun” Balsamo Jr., SSJV.

May the life and teachings of St. Augustine continue to inspire us to seek God with sincere hearts, remain steadfast in faith, and live in communion with one another as one Church.

Malipayon nga gisaulog sa tibuok Arkidiyosesis sa Cagayan de Oro ang Kapistahan ni San Agustin, atong halangdong patron ug ehemplo sa usa ka kinabuhing hingpit nga mitugyan ngadto sa Dios.

Ang mga parokyano sa Parokya ni San Antonio de Padua – Nazareth giawhag nga moapil sa lokal nga pagsaulog sa kapistahan pinaagi sa pag-apil sa Balaang Misa ug pag-ampo uban sa atong komunidad.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Silver Jubilee of Sr. Alma del Rosario, MSHF 🤍
On the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community joyfully gathered for the Thanksgiving Mass celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the Profession of Faith of Sr. Alma del Rosario, MSHF. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Jose A. Cabantan, DD, together with the concelebrating priests.

Surrounded by her family, friends, fellow religious, and guests, Sr. Alma celebrated this beautiful milestone with hearts full of gratitude for God's faithfulness throughout her journey of consecrated life. Her 25 years of faithful commitment stand as a witness to God's grace, love, and enduring call to serve.

The San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community warmly congratulates you, Sr. Alma, on this grace-filled milestone. May the Lord continue to strengthen your vocation, bless your ministry abundantly, and grant you many more fruitful years of faithful service.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community solemnly celebrated the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, rejoicing in Mary's glorious assumption into heaven and honoring her as a model of faith and obedience.

The Eucharistic Celebrations were presided over by Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia and Rev. Fr. Roberto “Jun” Balsamo Jr., SSJV, as the parish community gathered in prayer and thanksgiving.

The celebration also included the Thanksgiving Mass for the Silver Jubilee of the Profession of Faith of Sr. Alma del Rosario, MSHF, presided over by Most Rev. Jose A. Cabantan, DD, together with the concelebrating priests.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Send-Off and Commissioning of the Parish Catechetical Ministry
The Ministry of Catechesis of San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth gathered during the 7:00 AM Holy Mass for their Send-Off and Commissioning, marking the beginning of their mission to bring the light of faith and the teachings of Christ to the schools within and around the parish community.

The members of the ministry received a special blessing from our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Roberto “Jun” Balsamo Jr., SSJV, as they were entrusted with the important mission of sharing the faith and helping young people deepen their relationship with God.

May the Lord guide and strengthen our catechists as they become instruments of evangelization, forming hearts and minds to know, love, and follow Christ.

May your mission bear abundant fruit! Go forth and catechize!

Following the celebration of Priests' Day last August 2, the San Antonio de Padua Parish – Nazareth community joyfully honors our beloved shepherds today, the Memorial of St. John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests.

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our sincerest appreciation to our 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 "𝗝𝘂𝗻" 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗼 𝗝𝗿., 𝗦𝗦𝗝𝗩, and our 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮, 𝗦𝗦𝗝𝗩, for your faithful witness, selfless service, and unwavering dedication to the spiritual life of our parish. Through your celebration of the Holy Eucharist, administration of the sacraments, and pastoral care, you continue to lead our community closer to Christ and inspire us to live our faith more deeply.

As we celebrate your priestly ministry, we also lift our prayers for an increase in priestly and religious vocations.
