What a powerful and inspiring presentation from the students of School of Leadership 2 of Holy Spirit University Cagayan de Oro! 🙌✨

Through their skit about the Prodigal Son in The Gospel of Luke, they beautifully reminded us of God’s unconditional love, mercy, and forgiveness. No matter how far we may go, our Father is always ready to welcome us back with open arms. ❤️

Romans 10:8–15
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:
9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

All praise and thanksgiving be to God for the success of our Feeding Program. 🙏

The Love Philippines Movement – Cagayan de Oro Chapter, led by Pastora Ed Bringas, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting communities across the city, successfully carried out a Feeding Program yesterday, April 21, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Zone 1, Bonbon.

This initiative was designed to support individuals and families, especially those experiencing food insecurity, by providing nutritious meals. Through teamwork and shared compassion, the activity became a meaningful effort that positively impacted the lives of the residents. The team prepared healthy and balanced meals using fresh ingredients, ensuring they met the needs and preferences of the community. More than just distributing food, the group also connected with residents through sessions on proper nutrition, hygiene, and spiritual encouragement—fostering holistic well-being. It was a special moment of sharing not only meals, but also knowledge, hope, and faith.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Hon. Lelit Molina, Barangay Captain of Bonbon, for granting us permission to hold the program, and to Zone 1 Leader Ma’am Barton for her valuable support.

Truly, when people unite with love and faith, they can bring nourishment, inspiration, and positive change to the community. To God be all the glory!
