CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM – Talk 6: Empowered by the Holy Spirit (Highlights)

Bro. July Cagampang reminded us that God offers each of us a new life—a life in the Holy Spirit. This is the normal Christian life, the authentic Christian life that God desires for all His children.

Therefore, we are called to be open to this gift, and even more, to desire it with all our hearts. Have faith that God will fulfill His promise and that you will receive this new life through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Look forward to this new life and to experiencing your own “Pentecost.” As Pope Benedict XVI reminded the faithful:
“There is no Pentecost without the Virgin Mary.”

May we continue to grow in faith, surrender ourselves to God's love, and allow the Holy Spirit to empower us for Christian living and mission.

CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM: TALK 5 – CHRISTIAN FAMILY 🤍

Talk 5 reminded us that every family, despite its weaknesses and imperfections, can become a light in the darkness of the world.

Love begets love, and it begins in the family. The family is life’s first school — the building block of society, of the Church, and the cradle of every vocation. It is within the family where faith, love, forgiveness, and service are first learned and lived.

We look to the Holy Family for inspiration. Pope Francis, in Amoris Laetitia, reminds us:

“Nazareth teaches us the meaning of family life, its loving communion, its simple and austere beauty, its sacred and inviolable character. May it teach how sweet and irreplaceable is its training, how fundamental and incomparable its role in the social order.” (AL 66)

May our families continue to grow in love, unity, and Christ-centered living. 🙏

CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM: TALK 4 – LOVING GOD AND LOVING NEIGHBOR 🤍

Sis Apple reminded us to look at others as we look at Jesus, and to love other people as we love Jesus. True love for God is reflected in how we treat others—especially those who are in need. As Scripture says, we cannot say we love God while failing to love our neighbors.

May we continue to live a life of compassion, kindness, and genuine Christian love. 🙏

CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM: TALK 4 – LOVING GOD AND LOVING NEIGHBOR

“Jesus summed up the whole law in these two greatest commandments: ‘You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:37–40)

Talk 4 reminded us that loving God and loving neighbor form the inseparable core of the Christian life. As followers of Christ, we are called to live out these commandments through faith, compassion, and genuine love for one another. Our identity as Christians is reflected not only in our words, but most especially in the way we love God and serve our neighbors.

CHRISTIAN LIFE PROGRAM: TALK 4 – LOVING GOD AND LOVING NEIGHBOR

Talk 4 reminded us that loving God and loving neighbor form the inseparable core of the Christian life. These two commandments always go together. Loving God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength is our highest ideal and the greatest commandment. Yet, we cannot truly love God without loving our neighbor. We are called to love others not only as we love ourselves, but as God loves them.

Sis Apple inspired and encouraged us to continue living a life rooted in faith, compassion, and genuine love for one another.
