As we celebrate the eve of the Feast of Saint Augustine,patron saint of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de oro, we also honor Saint Monica. Through a life of quiet virtue, profound prayer, and endless patience, she endured an abusive pagan husband and spent 17 years storming heaven for her son's conversion. Saint Monica's story reminds us that no prayers is ever wasted, and her steadfast paved the way for one of the Church's greatest saints.
