Assalamu alaykom.

END ISRAEL’S APARTHEID! SAVE PALESTINE!
Unity Statement of Muslim Student Organizations of the Philippines on Israel’s violence against Palestinians

Assalamu’alaikum (Peace be upon you)!

The Muslim students of the Philippines through the undersigned Muslim Youth Organizations strongly condemn the murder and systemic oppression of Palestinians by the Israeli government through its armed forces.

The recent siege of Al Aqsa Mosque and the attack on innocent worshippers during the Holy month of Ramadan caps decades of Israel’s ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians. Indeed, there is no excuse for indiscriminate violence. Countless Palestinians have long resisted the pillaging and forced seizure of their ancestral homes, and countless more have been persecuted by the Zionist regime. With the support of the United states, there is no doubt about Israel’s overwhelming military superiority over Palestine. There is no justice or honor in their continued provocation of hostilities and disproportionate reprisals against helpless people, many of whom are women and children.

We stand firmly with our Palestinian brothers and sisters in their struggle for justice, independence, and national sovereignty. We urge the Philippine government to discontinue its silence over the issue and join its Muslim constituents in the condemnation of what is clearly a series of Israel’s terrorist attacks. We call on the United States and the United Kingdom to withdraw their military and economic support to Zionist Israel and sanction it for its transgressions.

Moreover, we call upon both local and international media entities to exert effort in delivering the truth behind the ongoing devastation in Gaza and to stop from framing the Palestinians as equally capable in defending themselves against the vicious attacks sponsored by the Zionist Regime.

Finally, we are encouraging our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters all over the globe to extend their du’aas and prayers for Palestine. This is the perfect time for us to stand as one Ummah, remain steadfast in our faith, and continue to uphold Islam as a religion of peace. May we strive to overcome all afflictions with the guidance of Allah S.W.T.

No one deserves to be hurt, disenfranchised, or killed because of their faith or ethnicity. As victims of religious persecution in World War II, we are deeply anguished and angered by Zionist Israel’s repetition of this grave immorality toward the Palestinians. We reiterate the importance of compassion, understanding, and grace in all matters, especially in the conduct of governance and leadership.

To remain silent and neutral amidst the cries for help and justice by the Palestinian people is to put their blood in our hands. Five decades of military occupation, settler colonialism, and ethnic cleansing is long enough, justice must be served and the world must unite to finally FREE PALESTINE!

DISCLAIMER: This statement is not a condemnation of Jews or Judaism as a religion. We acknowledge the efforts of Jews who chose to stand with the oppressed Palestinians. We do not condone or support any anti-semitic behavior or language. We condemn the terrorist acts of Zionist Israel against Palestine and the continued persecution of Muslim minorities all over the globe.

The Ad Finem Charitable Foundation is a non-profit, non-stock and non-partisan organization founded by the Class 2017 of the College of Health Sciences, Mindanao State University – Main Campus who are dedicated to selfless and voluntary philanthropy, humanitarian works and relief operations.

They are actively organizing and/or participating in the aforementioned activities since 2015. The AFCF burgeoned enough to expand and enhance its capabilities and influence to further extend its reach and impact on uniquely selected populations including but not limited to deprived families, disease-stricken communities and calamity-affected areas.

For this year of Ramadhan, AFCF is enormously eager to launch the 3rd Wave of Ramadhan Treat Project. Last Ramadhan special treat 2020, the foundation was able to provide much needed necessities to our kindred who were greatly affected by the quarantine and the pandemic that our world is going through.

To give a short description on the said project, a total of five hundred twenty-six (526) beneficiaries amongst the twenty-one (21) areas in Iligan City who belongs to “Meranaws Miskins” and a total of sixty-six (66) households amongst five (5) selected areas in Marawi City were provided with grocery packages as well as cash assistance. Furthermore, six (6) identified Orphanages with 229 morits and Ustadzs were also provided with grocery items. More than P600,000.00 were collected from their respected and generous donors which aids almost 3,000 less fortunate individuals.

We are now in our 3rd WAVE! 😁🎉

More than being fed, to enjoy the spirit of holy month is our utmost concern. ✨

Assalaamu'alaykum and good day! The ADFINEM Charitable Foundation is enormously eager to launch another Ramadhan treat for this year. We will serve as man power and bridging entity in extending your help and donations to the deserving recipients. ♥️

In shaa Allah, target beneficiaries are our fellow Muslims (MISKINS) who are residing in the slums of Iligan and Marawi City, and orphans in sectors of Lanao del Sur and Norte. This pandemic has been one of the greatest challenges in the life of these individuals. Due to these unending community quarantines, people lost their jobs that instigate more struggle to keep up with their daily expenses. Moreover, assistance from LGUs are not enough to sustain the day-to-day needs of our target beneficiaries especially in this month of Holy Ramadhan. Commitments for money and goods donations were already being held, but we are still financially constrained as we are hopeful to cater a greater number of beneficiaries as much as possible.

For the record, our 2nd wave last year (2020) with a collection mounting to more than P600,000.00 had served 526 households and 229 orphans for a total of almost 3,000 individuals successfully accommodated expanding throughout Lanao del Sur and Norte, alhamdulillah.

In line, we are again humbly asking for any kind of donation, be it monetary, goods, garments (abaya, kimon, praying mat) and/or anything that can be used by the aforementioned target population, etc. By God’s will, rest assured that we'll be delivering these goods right to the doorsteps of our beneficiaries and that we'll be transparent with whatever we can collect for this year! ✨

So mga kabaya zadka na in shaa Allah na isampay ami kiran dn so kalangolangowan a katimo tanu. 🤗
Jazakallahu khairan!❣️

Ramadhan Mubarak! ✨
