🤍 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦: 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗲🙏🕊️

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that our San Pedro Calungsod family grieves the sudden passing of our beloved Tito Bernie.

As a devoted Lay Minister and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus (KOC), he was a true pillar of our chapel. To the youth, he was a gentle guide and a constant source of support. The love and faith he shared with all of us will never be forgotten.

We humbly ask everyone to join us in offering fervent prayers:

For Tito Bernie's soul, that he may now rest peacefully in the loving arms of our Creator.
For his wife, that God may grant her fast physical healing, comfort, and the immense strength she needs to face this painful loss.
For their whole family, that they find peace and courage during these very difficult days.

Thank you for everything, Tito Bernie. Your life of faith and service is a beautiful legacy we will carry with us.

Rest in the peace of Christ until we meet again. 🤍

𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐒𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐃𝐀𝐘 | 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

In the quiet and solemn moments of Black Saturday, the San Pedro Calungsod NHA Chapel gathered for the Blessing of Fire and Water, prayerfully awaiting the joy and hope of Christ’s Resurrection. These sacred signs remind us that from darkness comes light, and through Christ we are made new.

In his homily, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, reminded us that the Resurrection of Christ calls us to true renewal—not only in name, but in the way we live our lives each day.

Moments of prayer and reflection as our community journeyed with Christ through the Stations of the Cross, remembering His great love and sacrifice for us. May the Cross continue to guide us in faith, hope, and humility.

• Good Friday – 2:30 AM (Stations of the Cross), 12:30PM (Film Showing), 3:00 PM (Veneration of the Cross)
• Black Saturday – 6:00 PM (Blessing of Fire and Water)
• Easter Sunday – 3:00 AM (Procession to Kauswagan National High School)

"𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙡𝙞 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙞 𝙥𝙖𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙞 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣."

As we draw closer to Holy Week, Rev. Fr. William Salva reminds us of a powerful truth. Our struggles and pains are not without purpose. Christ showed us that through suffering, we find our way to eternal life.

Whenever you feel weighed down by your trials, remember that Jesus walked this path first so we would never have to walk it alone. Let us offer our hardships to Him, knowing that every challenge has a divine meaning. 🙏✨
