Nobody wakes up one day and decides to have a hard heart.

It happens slowly.
One compromise at a time.
One delayed obedience at a time.
One ignored conviction at a time.

At first, you feel the Holy Spirit nudging you.

You know something isn't right.
You know God is calling you back.
You know there are things that need to change.

But instead of responding, you delay.

"Maybe tomorrow."
"Maybe next week."
"Maybe when life settles down."

And little by little, what once convicted you no longer bothers you.

The prayer life that used to be important becomes optional.
The sin that once grieved you becomes normal.
The presence of God that once satisfied you becomes unfamiliar.

Not because God moved away.
But because your heart slowly drifted.

Hebrews 3:15 says, "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."

Notice the urgency of that verse.

Today.
Not when it's convenient.
Not when you're ready.
Not when you've figured everything out.

NGAYON!

Because every time we ignore God's voice, it becomes easier to ignore it again.
Every time we resist conviction, our hearts become a little less sensitive.
And eventually, we stop feeling the weight of things that once brought us to our knees.

That's the danger of a hard heart.

Not that it happens suddenly.
But that it happens quietly.

Minsan ang pinakamalaking spiritual danger ay hindi obvious sin.

It's becoming comfortable without God.
It's learning how to function without prayer.
It's becoming satisfied with distance from Him.
It's losing the wonder of His presence and not even noticing it.

But here's the good news:
As long as you can still hear His invitation, it's not too late.

The fact that your heart is being stirred is evidence that God is still calling you.
The fact that you're feeling conviction is evidence that grace is still pursuing you.

God is not calling you back to shame you.
He's calling you back because He loves you.

The Father is not standing with folded arms waiting to condemn you.
He's standing with open arms inviting you home.

So don't wait until your heart becomes harder.
Don't ignore the conviction.
Don't silence the voice that's trying to bring you back.

Come back while your heart is still tender.
Come back while you can still hear Him.
Come back before the distance becomes normal.

Because the God you've drifted from is still the God who wants you near.

And no matter how far you've wandered,
His grace is still greater.
