“Serve”
Church Life—Episode Four
March 22, 2026

Just as the body is made up of different parts and each part serves a different function, so are we in the body of Christ, the church. Each one of us in the church are graced and gifted differently.

When we serve the Lord, we are not gaining points or doing Him a favor and He does not owe us anything. Serving is a privilege when we understand that we are undeserving and it is all by God’s grace.

No one is too important to serve others and we do not serve because we are needed, we serve because it is our grateful response to the grace of God that came through Christ.

Having a church life matters because we are purposed by God to serve each other in building up one another in the church.

“Equip”
Church Life—Episode Three
March 15, 2026

Every believer has a place and a purpose in ministry because every believer is called to be a minister, to serve in building one another in the church. Christ has assigned the church the work of equipping the saints for the work of ministry.

Having a church life matters because we need to be equipped to spiritually mature and serve in God’s purpose for every believer, which is the building up of one another in the church.

“Spiritual Care”
Church Life series—Episode Two
March 8, 2026

Along with Christ’ instruction to Peter of feeding His sheep, also comes the instruction of tending the sheep. So we can find later on in Peter’s letter to fellow pastors and leaders also exhorting them to shepherd the flock that is entrusted to them.

God has assigned the church to spiritually care for God’s people, pastors and leaders do not own the flock but the flock is entrusted to pastors and leaders while we await the appearing of the Owner of the flock, the Chief Shepherd, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Having a church life matters because it matters to have someone spiritually care for us.

“Spiritual Feeding”
Church Life series | Episode One
March 1, 2026

Before Jesus ascended, He left a pastoral instruction to Peter, “If you love Me, feed My lambs, tend My sheep and feed My sheep”.

Later a couple of years into the new testament church, a complaint arose within the church about food distribution—Peter then along with the other apostles came with the solution to choose seven men of good reputation to take care of the distribution, resolving that the apostles must not set aside the ministry of teaching the word of God.

What is there for us to learn here? The church will always be pulled from every side to different concerns and to serve in many ways, but none of it must replace the responsibility to spiritually feed the flock with God’s word.

“Godly Friends”

Friendship is meant to be a blessing not a trouble. Whether we like it or not, we will always become like the people we spend time with. When a friendship is Godly it improves us. Let us be the kind of friend that God intended for people to have.

A Godly friend points us to Jesus, guides us into God’s ways, corrects us in love and serves as an example.

It is truly a blessing to be around God’s people, last night was amazingly encouraging.

Pastor Mark shared with us that being rooted in Christ gives us access to God through the Holy Spirit and let our roots grow deep in Him that it might extend to others to bear fruit and lastly, we belong together springing from one Root, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lifted up prayers in unity and closed the night with prophetic declarations for certain individuals. To God be the glory through Christ!
