Grateful to be reminded by Bro. Rogelio Q. Borromeo Jr. of our mission and calling as followers of Christ not only to believe, but to go, teach, and lead others to Him.

Through Matthew 28:19–20, we were encouraged to embrace the Great Commission:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...”

We are also thankful and delighted to welcome our brothers and sisters from Christian Fellowship Church - Davao City and Blessed Hope Christian Fellowship Truly, our fellowship in Christ inspires and strengthens us as we continue fulfilling God’s mission together.

Today’s preaching by Pastor Jerome Pino reminded us that following Jesus is not just a one-time emotion or experience. It is a daily decision to deny ourselves, surrender our lives, and continually follow Christ.

“Then He said to them all, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.’” — Luke 9:23

‎We were reminded that discipleship begins with THE COST OF DENYING SELF. Following Christ means letting go of pride, selfish desires, and the need for validation from others. Jesus must become the true Master of our lives, and not ourselves.

He also highlighted THE COST OF DAILY SURRENDER, for taking up the cross is not only about facing struggles, but fully surrendering our lives to God every single day. Partial surrender is not complete surrender, because true obedience happens when we continually choose God’s will over our own.

‎THE COST OF FOLLOWING CHRIST may take away our comfort, personal control, and require sacrifice, but choosing to follow Him brings lasting joy and purpose. In Christ, we experience peace, transformation, renewed strength, and the hope of eternal glory.

With a strong message filled with urgency and purpose, Rev. Jess P. Gawangon challenged believers to move beyond comfortable faith and boldly live as witnesses for Christ. Centered on the theme “Sent as Witnesses” and anchored in Acts 1:8 and Gospel of Matthew 28:19–20, the message highlighted the call of URGENT — Unleashed Power, Ready Witness, God’s Heart Map, Expanding Mission, New Identity, and Time is Now. Rev. Gawangon reminded the congregation that God uses ordinary people empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish extraordinary things for His kingdom. “The Spirit is ready. The King is risen. The nations are waiting. Stop waiting for the kingdom; start advancing it,” he emphasized.

Today's service also became a meaningful celebration of Mother’s Day, honoring mothers for their unwavering love, sacrifices, strength, and faith. Their role in nurturing families and guiding the next generation was recognized as a reflection of Christ’s compassion and grace. The celebration served as both a spiritual encouragement and a heartfelt tribute, inspiring everyone to continue walking in faith, loving deeply, and answering God’s call with willing hearts because truly, the time is NOW. 🙌⏱️

Today, May 10, 2026, we honor all mothers for their love, sacrifice, and strength. In the Bible, mothers are seen as a blessing from God... women who guide their families with wisdom, faith, and compassion. Just like Mary, the mother of Jesus, many mothers today continue to show quiet courage and unconditional love in every season of life.

Mothers carry many responsibilities. They work, care for their families, support their children’s dreams, and still find ways to give love even when they are tired. As this generation faces fast changes and challenges, mothers remain a source of comfort, guidance, and stability. Proverbs 31:25 reminds us, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

This Mother’s Day, let us appreciate not only the big sacrifices but also the small everyday acts of love that mothers give so freely. May we continue to honor and support them, just as the Bible teaches us to “Honor your father and mother” (Exodus 20:12). To all moms, thank you for being a reflection of God’s love in our homes and in this world. 💖

Grateful to be reminded by His servant, Ptr. Billy M. Comahig that true growth as lifelong disciples is not achieved by effort alone but it flows from an unbroken connection with Christ.

When we are deeply rooted in Him, built up by His truth, and steadfast in abiding in His presence, our lives cannot help but bear fruit. Apart from Him we wither, but in Him we are strengthened, sustained, and made fruitful beyond our own capacity. We remain and grow stronger as disciples when we intentionally seek Him through prayer, immerse ourselves in His Word, walk in obedience, and stay in fellowship with other believers. By choosing daily to abide in Christ and depend on His grace, our lives bear lasting fruit that reflects His love and faithfulness.

Today, May 3, 2026, we also honor our graduates, special awardees, and all who have successfully finished Class of 2026. We also acknowledge the presence and unwavering support of the parents who have journeyed alongside them. May we all continue to remain in Christ—seeking Him through prayer, immersing in His Word, walking in obedience, and growing in fellowship—so that our lives will continue to bear lasting fruit for His glory.
