“You're a Christian… But Why Is Hate Coming Out of Your Mouth?”

KEY TEXT
Ephesians 4:29
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up.”

INTRODUCTION
In this day and age,
many Christians are:

· active in church
· able to quote Bible verses
· vocal on social media
· bold in expressing their opinions

But it's sad to think that:
as the debates over politics and social issues grow louder…
so do:

· anger
· insults
· slander
· cursing
· toxic comments
· hate speech

Sometimes,
you can no longer tell
whether a Christian is speaking
or just a very angry person.

MAIN TRUTH
“Not every defense of the truth has to be full of anger.”

POINT 1 — IT'S POSSIBLE TO HAVE THE RIGHT OPINION… BUT THE WRONG SPIRIT

There are people who:

· have the right point
· are defending the right thing
· are right about the issue

But their approach is wrong:

· full of insults
· full of contempt
· full of anger
· full of slander

Truth without love
becomes a weapon of pride.

ILLUSTRATION #1 — FIRE IN THE MOUTH
A small spark
can burn down a large forest.

That's how the mouth is.

One comment,
one post,
one angry word—
can destroy:

· relationships
· your testimony
· unity
· your Christian witness

POWERFUL LINE
“When hate fills our mouths… maybe politics is ruling our hearts instead of Christ.”

POINT 2 — ANGER IS NOT PROOF OF TRUTH
These days,
some think:

· more anger = more right
· louder = more righteous
· more aggressive = more spiritual

But Jesus,
even when speaking the truth,
had:

· wisdom
· authority
· compassion
· self-control

Colossians 4:6
“Let your conversation always be full of grace…”

ILLUSTRATION #2 — DIRTY WATER
If the bucket is filled with dirt,
dirty water will come out.

The same is true spiritually.
If the heart is filled with:

· anger
· pride
· bitterness
· political fanaticism

that's what will come out of the mouth.

POINT 3 — A CHRISTIAN MUST HAVE DISCERNMENT AND SELF-CONTROL
Being bold does not mean
lacking control over your words.

Not everything you think
needs to be posted.

Not every feeling of anger
needs to be poured out online.

True maturity
is seen in:

· self-control
· wisdom
· humility
· the right spirit

Proverbs 15:1
“A gentle answer turns away wrath…”

POWERFUL STATEMENT
“When love, humility, and self-control are missing from our speech… maybe it's no longer Christ being seen in us.”

POINT 4 — POLITICS SHOULD NOT DESTROY CHRISTIAN CHARACTER
Politics can:

· influence opinions
· shape perspectives
· expose convictions

But it should not destroy:

· love
· wisdom
· humility
· Christian testimony

Because being like Christ
is still far more important
than being right in an argument.

HEART CHECK
Ask yourself:

· Is hate already coming out of my mouth?
· Is politics already destroying my Christian character?
· Is Christ still seen in the way I speak?
· Do I still speak with wisdom?

ALTAR CALL
“Lord, cleanse not only my mind… but also my mouth and my heart. Help me to speak the truth with love and wisdom.”

FINAL MESSAGE
The true Christian is not only bold in speaking the truth… they also know how to speak with love, wisdom, and self-control.

“When hate comes out of our mouths… maybe we're no longer fighting for truth—but for pride.”

“You Might Not Be a Backslider Anymore… You’ve Just Become Religious.”

KEY TEXT
2 Timothy 3:5
“Having a form of godliness but denying its power.”

INTRODUCTION
This is one of the most dangerous spiritual conditions.
You haven’t completely left the church…
but you no longer have a real relationship with God.

· You still go to church
· You still know how to worship
· You’re still active sometimes
· You still know how to quote verses

But:
• No more conviction
• No more prayer life
• No more humility
• No more transformation
• No more true intimacy with God

Religious on the outside…
but spiritually dry on the inside.

MAIN TRUTH
“A person who looks spiritual… but has been far from God for a long time is more dangerous.”

ILLUSTRATION #1 — DEAD BATTERY
The phone looks fine.
Clean. Expensive. Modern.
But the battery is dead.
That’s how some Christians are today.
They look spiritual on the outside—
but they’re already spiritually disconnected.

“Not everyone in church is still truly connected to Christ.”

POINT 1 — IT’S POSSIBLE TO BE RELIGIOUS… BUT HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP
There are people who:

· know all the worship songs
· know the church culture
· know how to speak spiritually

But they no longer:
• pray
• weep in God’s presence
• read the Bible sincerely
• repent deeply

Christianity has become just a routine.

Matthew 15:8
“‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.’”

POINT 2 — RELIGION CAN HIDE A DEAD SPIRITUAL LIFE
This is the scary reality:
It’s possible to:

· be in ministry
· be on the platform
· be visible in the church
…yet be spiritually empty.

There’s performance.
But no presence.
There’s activity.
But no intimacy.

ILLUSTRATION #2 — ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS
They look beautiful.
They seem alive.
But they’re fake.
No growth. No life. No fruit.

That’s what fake spirituality is like.
Looks fine externally—
but has no real spiritual life internally.

POWERFUL STATEMENT
“It’s easier to look holy… than to truly change.”

POINT 3 — CHURCH ATTENDANCE IS NOT THE MEASURE
Church attendance does not measure spiritual maturity:
• attendance
• church clothes
• ministry title
• social media verses
• emotional worship moments

True spirituality is seen in:

· humility
· repentance
· obedience
· transformation
· Christlike character

Galatians 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control…”

POINT 4 — SOME PEOPLE ARE IN CHURCH… BUT HAVE BEEN WITHOUT FIRE FOR A LONG TIME
Sometimes:

· only the body is in church
· but the heart is already in the world
· emotions are into politics
· priorities are on self
· and there’s no more hunger for God

And the painful part:
they’ve grown accustomed to that spiritual condition.

HARD DECLARATION
“When there’s no more conviction of sin… your spiritual condition is already dangerous.”

HEART CHECK

· When was the last time you truly wept in God’s presence?
· Do you still have a prayer life outside of church?
· Do you still have a genuine hunger for the Lord?
· Or has your Christianity become just a routine?

ALTAR CALL
“Lord, I don’t want to be just religious. I want to be truly alive spiritually. Restore the fire, the conviction, and my intimacy with You.”

FINAL MESSAGE
“God did not call people just to look spiritual… He called us to have a real relationship with Him.”

“Maybe you’re not a backslider… maybe you’ve just gotten used to living far from God while still inside the church.”

“Performance… but no presence. Religion… but no relationship.”

A powerful El Niño is currently forming in the Pacific Ocean, and scientists warn it could become one of the strongest in 150 years. According to The Economic Times, climate models show a 70 percent chance of El Niño conditions developing by mid‑2026, with sea surface temperatures in the central and eastern Pacific projected to rise more than 2°C above average. This threshold defines a “super El Niño,” which can disrupt global weather systems far beyond the effects of a regular El Niño.

According to TIME, strong El Niños are rare, with only five recorded since 1950, the most recent being in 2015–16. These events typically bring droughts to regions like Australia, South Africa, and the Amazon Basin, while causing floods in parts of the United States and South America. A super El Niño can also alter hurricane activity, suppressing storms in the Atlantic but increasing them in the Central Pacific.

DAVID LEADERS vs SAUL LEADERS
A prophetic & apostolic discernment for this hour

The Church is in a leadership sift. Heaven is exposing crowns that were given by man and anointings that were given by God. Not every anointed-looking leader is God-chosen.

Learn to discern David from Saul

1. David leaders are chosen by God in secret — Saul leaders are the result of people not wanting to submit under God as their King!
David was anointed in the field; Saul was crowned to impress the crowd.

2. David leaders value presence — Saul leaders value position.
David said, “One thing have I desired…” Saul said, “Honor me before the people.”

3. David leaders repent quickly — Saul leaders justify endlessly.
David said, “I have sinned.” Saul said, “The people made me do it.”

4. David leaders empower others — Saul leaders eliminate threats.
David raised mighty men; Saul threw spears at the anointed.

5. David leaders shepherd hearts — Saul leaders control systems.
David knew the sheep by name; Saul ruled by fear and insecurity.

6. David leaders are covenant-keepers — Saul leaders are image-managers.
David would not touch Saul because of covenant; Saul broke covenant to save face.

7. David leaders build altars — Saul leaders build monuments to themselves.
David restored worship; Saul set up a statue in his own honor.

8. David leaders wait on God’s timing — Saul leaders force outcomes.
David waited for the throne; Saul rushed the sacrifice.

9. David leaders are aligned with prophets — Saul leaders silence prophetic voices.
David honored Nathan; Saul hunted Samuel’s authority.

10. David leaders finish with legacy — Saul leaders finish with tragedy.
David left a dynasty; Saul left trauma, broken sons, and a vacant throne.

This is the hour where God is removing Sauls who were tolerated and raising Davids who were hidden.
Don’t follow charisma—follow oil.
Don’t submit to crowns—submit to calling.

He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church.
