We are officially halfway through the week! Before the weekend catches up with us, this is a great time to slow down, remember what we learned on last Sunday, and take an honest look at our daily walk with Jesus.

Let's ask ourselves: Is our commitment only based on what is easy? Is our obedience delayed? Is our attention divided? 🤔

Let us remind ourselves of this simple truth: a true follower of Jesus serves Him with a surrendered heart, even when it requires a little sacrifice, quick obedience, and our complete focus.

Here are the three main takeaways:

1. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Following Christ shouldn't depend on our comfort. True commitment means we are willing to serve Him, even when it is inconvenient or difficult.

2. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
When God calls us to do something, we should act on it right away. We have to remember that delayed obedience is still disobedience.

3. 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
We cannot fully serve God while our hearts are looking the other way. Following Him requires our full attention and surrender.

If we are being honest, we may have seen these three kinds of commitment in ourselves at some point. But please do not let this discourage you! Instead, remember that we serve a God who is 100% committed to His promises and His love for us. Let His perfect commitment give you the strength to renew your own today.

Now, my question for you is: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩?

Please share your thoughts in the comments below so we can encourage and learn from one another. 💫

Have a blessed week, and we will see you this Sunday ~! 👋🏻

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝗱 | 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Sometimes, being marked by God isn’t obvious.
It’s quiet. Hidden. Unnoticed by others.

But just because people don’t see it… doesn’t mean God didn’t place it in you.

📖 1 Samuel 16:7
“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

💭 Reflection:

What if this season of being overlooked is actually part of God’s preparation? You are anointed before you are positioned. You are being shaped before you are seen.

What feels like an obstacle might actually be your opportunity.

The battles no one sees, those silent prayers, quiet obedience, and hidden struggles are preparing you for the moments everyone will see. And you don’t have to be anyone else. God will use you as you are, with what you have.

📝 Reminders:
• Not everyone will recognize what God has placed in you
• Preparation comes before elevation
• Your obstacles may carry your purpose
• Private battles shape public victories
• Your uniqueness is part of His plan
• Trust God’s timing, even when it’s hard

Walk humbly. Serve faithfully. Trust deeply.

You are marked—whether seen or unseen.

In our recent Sunday Sermon delivered to us by Pastor John, we were reminded through Jeremiah 18:1–4 that God is the Master Potter, and we are the clay in His hands.

No matter our flaws, failures, or resistance, the Lord continues His work in shaping us according to His perfect will. His hands are patient, purposeful, and full of grace.

God lovingly molds our lives for His purpose, but we must remain humble, surrendered, and responsive to His hands.

Key Takeaways:
≈ 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 – Our past mistakes or present struggles do not remove us from God’s hands. He is still working in us. Jeremiah 18:1–4
≈ 𝗪𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 – There is no “least” in God’s creation. Every life has value because the Potter intentionally formed each one of us. Isaiah 64:8; Ephesians 2:10
≈ 𝗔 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 – Sometimes we miss or delay God’s plans because we resist His shaping work. Proverbs 29:1
≈ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 – Just like dry clay cannot be molded, a prideful heart becomes difficult to shape. James 4:6
≈ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 – To remain useful in God’s hands, we must stay spiritually soft through humility and repentance. Psalm 51:17

What area of your life is God trying to shape right now—and are you yielding or resisting? Let us know in the comments!
