On May 30, 2026, the Ministry of Altar Servers of San Antonio de Padua Parish โ€“ Nazareth actively participated in the first-ever St. Philomena Vicariate Altar Servers Summit 2026, with a theme "Ministry of Altar Servers: Serving Grace, Building Communion," a gathering that brought together altar servers from across the vicariate for a day of formation, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment.

Throughout the summit, participants engaged in various activities and talks centered on the nature, dignity, and mission of the ministry of altar servers, helping them deepen their understanding of their role in the Church and at the sacred liturgy. The summit also featured a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Roger Almonia, Parochial Vicar of San Antonio de Padua Parish โ€“ Nazareth, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Carl Lloyd Salcedo.

The morning session was held at the Carmelite Monastery, while the afternoon activities continued at the St. John Vianney Theological Seminary Compound, providing the participants with meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, and camaraderie with fellow altar servers.

The ministry extends its heartfelt gratitude to our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Roberto โ€œJunโ€ Balsamo Jr., SSJV, for his unwavering support and for allowing the ministry to represent the parish in this historic gathering. May the lessons learned and friendships formed during the summit inspire all participants to continue serving Christ and His Church with greater zeal, reverence, and devotion.
