Is baptism necessary for salvation?

Baptism is a part of our journey of faith in Christ only but it does not mean it is not important.

What's the whole point of getting baptized?

Three reasons to get baptized:
(1) to obey Christ's command
(2) to publicly profess faith in Christ
(3) to formally commit yourself to Christ and his people.

Baptism is an important step of obedience after salvation but cannot be a requirement for salvation. the Bible so clearly tells us that salvation is received by faith alone (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5) When a person claimed that he or she believe in Christ, yet ashamed to proclaim his/her faith in public, it indicated that he did not have true faith. For some Christians pod karon, they think that getting baptize is just a norm in Christian life journey where in fact this is a very serious intentional decision that we should value coz when we decided to be baptize it means that our life is no longer on our own, we are now belong to Christ, our old nature has gone and our newness of life in Christ Jesus has come. We are now dead to sin and alive in God. This is why Jesus said that, those who desire to be my follower, he/she must Deny his/her flesh, take up the cross daily and follow Him.

"𝐁𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧."

When we go through life one day after the other and witness how it has a been struggle to survive, we tend to focus on the struggle and believe that we are never going out of these dark valleys.

We get so busy focusing on our problems, sorting our lives, careers, relationships and personal interests that we become so busy for God.

It is a sad story when we come home at night and realize how God is still able to work miracles for us when we are just so "overwhelmed and pre-occupied" by our selfish desires.

How great is that Love?

And maybe the reason why we can't really be genuinely joyful no katter how much we try to accomplish is because we forget the most important things - our faith and our eternal promises?

It is not yet too late. We can always turn to God and quit chasing non-sense victories in this dark horizon of aimless success in our minds.

We can always pray and wait on the good things and this time, with God - patiently and prayerfully with purpose driven and God driven desires.

May we all find our ways to the wonderful things that God has set for us. 🤍🍃

Young people, we need to understand that your beauty and handsomeness were not made to bring lust and temptation. God never formed that face to bring destruction to this generation but to use it more as a good example for His greater glory.

Imagine how happy and excited God while establishing you and then one day, it will be used by the enemy and not for His divine purpose. I want you to acknowledge Ephesians 2:10 "For we are God’s MASTERPIECE. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He PLANNED for us LONG AGO."

Before you were conceived in your mother's womb, you were already conceived in the mind of God ✨

So, imagine how God carefully and wonderfully made you as whom God wants you to be 🙂

Allow people to respect you simply because they saw how you respect yourself too. Let them see God's glory not 'Satan's glory'.

So young people, be a good example and pure enough for this generation. Show to them that God must reign on this generation — that purity still matters 🌱

Kaya alagaan mo at mahalin mo sarili mo. Kasi gagamitin pa yan ni Lord at marami pa Siyang plano para sa'yo 🥰

Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things."

So dear, use your beauty and body for God's greater glory.
