๐ˆ๐ ๐๐‡๐Ž๐“๐Ž๐’ | The St. John Marie Vianney Vicariate joined the City Vicariate delegates in the Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress held at Limketkai Atrium on June 6, 2026. Together with the faithful from different parishes and vicariates across the Archdiocese, our delegates participated in a day of prayer, catechesis, reflection, and Eucharistic celebration, deepening their devotion to Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

This meaningful gathering strengthened our unity as one Church and renewed our commitment to live as Eucharistic disciples, bringing Christ's presence to our families, communities, and ministries. May the graces received from this congress continue to inspire us to become true witnesses of faith, hope, and love in our daily lives.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | The Vicariate extended a helping hand to the faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders of Tuburan National High School during the Brigada Eskwela program. Through this meaningful activity, our youth leaders and representatives demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism, cooperation, and Christian stewardship by contributing their time, effort, and talents in preparing the school for another fruitful academic year.

Following the outreach activity, the Vicariate held its Monthly Meeting at Yanez Tuburan Farm. The gathering served as an opportunity for the Vicariate Youth Animators, coordinators, and leaders to strengthen fellowship, evaluate ongoing programs, discuss upcoming activities, and continue planning initiatives that will further enrich the faith and service of the young people within our vicariate.

The Vicariate Youth Coordinating Council (VYCC) presents its Pastoral Year 2025-2026 journey accomplishments. The youth across the vicariate developed closer relationships through the various meaningful experiences and collaborative activities and faith-based projects which occurred during this year.

The VYCC organization maintained its mission to help young people fulfill their religious duties through two main activities which included electing new leaders and conducting strategic planning sessions. The Vicariate Youth Day Cinco event which served as a major celebration brought together parish youth to celebrate their Christian faith and shared community and passed hosting duties to the next parish which will organize the event in the upcoming year.

Our projects focused on both formation and development through programs which included Youth Encounter and Altar Servers Summit and AYA Ink and Lens Re-Echo that provided young leaders with training to develop their spiritual abilities and work skills. The revival of The Relic newsletter further strengthened our mission to share stories of faith, service, and community life.

The VYCC Christmas Party and monthly meetings which take place on the second Sunday of each month created opportunities for fellowship which helped bridge connections between parish youth leaders. The vicariate joined the Local Celebration of National Youth Day to show our common Church identity which connected us to a shared mission and purpose.

The journey proves the dedication and passion and faith that every young person shows through their continued service.

๐Ž๐๐„ ๐…๐Ž๐‘ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐๐Ž๐Ž๐Š๐’

A chapter will end, a new one will open. As we gather for the St. John Marie Vianney Vicariate Pastoral Year-End Evaluation and Planning this April 25 at St. Francis Xavier Parish, Pueblo de Oro, we look back with gratitude and move forward with hope.

May God bless our youth in the vicariate with hearts full of faith, minds ready to serve, and spirits eager to grow, that this new chapter may be fruitful, meaningful, and guided by His will.

๐€๐‹๐“๐€๐‘ ๐Ž๐… ๐‘๐„๐๐Ž๐’๐„ | The Altars of Repose from each St. John Marie Vianney Vicariate parish display their beautiful designs. Each altar displays the religious dedication and artistic skills and affection of the believers who create a holy area for the Blessed Sacrament during this Holy Thursday celebration.

We enter into the night silence which leads us to stay with the Lord as He experiences His garden distress through our awake time. The altars serve as a reminder of Christ's lowliness and His immense love and His sacrifice which He made for our sake.

We should use this moment to stop all our activities and enter into silent prayer while we build our connection with Him who sacrificed everything to achieve our redemption. Our presence at the Altar of Repose should serve as more than a customary practice because it provides us with a genuine meeting with the Lord.
