The Women of the Philippine Independent Church (WOPIC) sector joined the 2nd Diocesan WOPIC Meeting held today at the Parish of St. Roche, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.

This gathering brought together women from different parishes and missions, fostering unity, fellowship, and a deeper commitment to service in the Church.

The Bonbon Mission joined the Diocesan Conference on Service Providers held today at the DCENT Center, Pro-Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.

Together with Rev. Fr. Lune Cabanacan, and the three delegates from the WOPIC, LIFI, and YIFI sectors represented the mission in this meaningful gathering, with Ms. Bloden Wedd Cabanacan as the resource speaker.

Theme: “Gipiyalan sa Pagpangalagad” (Cf. 1 Pedro 4:10)

Last April 2, we celebrated the Holy Mass, Pasunding, Washing of the Feet, and The Last Supper at Bonbon Mission of St. Nicolas de Tolentino. A solemn reminder of Christ's service and sacrifice.

Today marks the First Celebration of Palm Sunday (Domingo de Ramos) at Bonbon Mission. 🌿

With the participation of our newly joined apostles, angels, and church members, the celebration was truly meaningful and grace-filled. We thank everyone who took part and contributed to the success of this special day as we begin our Holy Week journey together.

A Joint Conference among Newly Elevated Parishes and Missions was successfully held at the IFI DCENT Center in Bulua, gathering delegates from various areas in a meaningful exchange of insights and experiences.

The activity was attended by Rev. Fr. Lune Cabanacan, Rev. Fr. Jefferson Palasan, and together with the Bonbon Ad Hoc Bishop’s Council Officers, in support of the ongoing journey toward the elevation of Bonbon Chapel into a Mission.

This conference served as an important step in strengthening coordination, deepening understanding of mission responsibilities, and preparing the community for greater service and commitment within the Church.

We continue to move forward with faith and unity as we embrace this significant milestone.
