“𝚆𝚑𝚎𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚋𝚒𝚍𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝙷𝚒𝚖, 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚘𝚗’𝚝 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚟𝚒𝚟𝚎—𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚋𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚏𝚛𝚞𝚒𝚝.” 🌿✨

During our Unit Prayer Meeting, we were reminded of what it truly means to abide—to remain, connect, and depend on God in every season of our lives.

We learned that:

We are called to abide in His Word 📖
Apart from Him, we can do nothing
As we abide in Him, He also abides in us 🤍
Remaining in Him allows us to bear much fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and more 🌱
In Him, we experience the fullness of joy ✨

No matter what we face, the invitation is simple: stay connected to the Source.

We recently spent a Day of Prayer at the Monastery, stepping away from the noise of campus life to find rest in His presence. It was a time of silence, seeking His heart, and being reminded of why we serve.

Now, we’re coming back down from the mountain—refreshed, restored, and ready! Meet your CYA Xavier University SeCo for this academic year. ⛰️✨ Insert: Carlyle

Dear Lord, As I am about to take this test, I pray for your guidance and wisdom. I know that I have studied and prepared as best as I can, but I also know that there is so much that I do not know. I pray that you would give me the knowledge and understanding that I need to do well on this test. I also pray for peace and calm, that I would not be anxious or stressed during the test. And finally, I pray that whatever the outcome of this test may be, that I would trust in your sovereign plan and know that you are in control. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏

During our Unit Prayer Meeting, we were reminded that love should always guide the way we live and serve. Even when we feel tired or overwhelmed, we are called to continue loving—through our academics, our service, and the people around us. May we always remember that the love we share comes from the love God first gave us. ✨
