Tonight, heaven is leaning in over Cadiz City. For too long, our city has heard the "solos" of our individual churches. We have heard the Baptist melody, the Pentecostal rhythm, and the Evangelical harmony.
Each is beautiful, but tonight, something shifted. When eight local churches met and aligned under one vision, the "solos" ended and the Symphony began. We are not here to build eight separate kingdoms; we are here to announce that Jesus Reigns over the one city He has entrusted to us.
The Alignment: The Dew of Hermon
Psalm 133 tells us that unity is like the dew of Hermon falling on Zion. Hermon was the high point, and Zion was the lower. For the blessing to flow, there had to be an alignment.
Tonight, we thank God for the alignment of leadership. We celebrate the appointment of Pastor Carl Mendoza and the passionate coordinators who have stepped into the gap. Leadership in unity is not about who is "in charge," but about who is willing to be the "collar of the robe" that allows the oil of the Holy Spirit to flow down to the very edges of our city. Pastor Carl and this team are not just coordinating an event; they are stewards of an atmosphere where God commands His blessing.
The Tangible Shift: More Than a Meeting
Unity becomes tangible when the world sees what they cannot explain.
Our unity is the "argument" the world cannot refute. When we align, the "chaff" of worldly trends is blown away, and the "Tree" of the United Church in Cadiz stands firm, rooted in the water of the Word.
The Charge: The Great Endeavor
To the eight churches, to Pastor Carl, and to every passionate heart behind this endeavor: Stay aligned. The enemy does not fear a big church, but he trembles at a united church.
Tonight is the "Amen" to Jesus' prayer in John 17. We are making Him known not just by our preaching, but by our reaching across the aisles to our brothers and sisters. Let the oil flow. Let the dew fall. Let Cadiz City know that Jesus doesn't just visit—Jesus Reigns.
"We are many parts, but one Body. We have many locations, but one Lord. We have many names, but one Mission. Tonight, Cadiz City belongs to Jesus!"
