The Diocese of Bacolod marks a significant milestone in its ecclesiastical history with the canonical possession and solemn installation of Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, D.D., S.Th.D., as its 7th Diocesan Bishop at the San Sebastian Cathedral on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The sacred rite, presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, His Excellency, Most Rev. Charles John Brown, D.D., and witnessed by members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), clergy, religious, and lay faithful.

Bishop Louie succeeds Most. Rev. Patricio A. Buzon, SDB, D.D., continuing a legacy of faithful stewardship and spiritual leadership in Negros Occidental.

With grateful hearts, the community of St. Joseph the Worker Parish (Caduha-an) joyfully welcomes its new Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Albert C. Aldea on Friday, June 12, 2026.

The Thanksgiving Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Aldarico V. Cagaitan during the Feast of the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

After six long years and countless Masses and Church events, Rev. Fr. Aldarico V. Cagaitan is now saying his final farewell to the faithful and the community of St. Joseph the Worker Parish (Caduha-an), as he begins his new pastoral journey.

Thank you, Padre, for your years of faithful service. As you continue your mission, may the Lord continue to bless you with strength, wisdom, and courage. And may the guiding hands of St. Joseph the Worker continue to accompany you in every step of your journey.
