Relief Society 184th Anniversary: A Celebration of Legacy and Faith
On March 21, 2026, the Cadiz Stake Relief Society marked its 184th anniversary with a heartwarming celebration held at the Cadiz Stake Center. Under the theme "A Celebration of Legacy and Faith", the event was presided over by Stake President Dennis A. Ceniza, and it was a day filled with inspiration, unity, and a deep sense of purpose.
The morning kicked off with an opening program followed by a vibrant cultural presentation, where members from various wards and branches showcased their talents by singing traditional Visayan songs, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the area. This was followed by Laro ng Lahi, a series of traditional Filipino games that brought everyone together in joyful camaraderie.
Two enriching workshops were held during the morning session: one focused on Temple and Family History, and the other on flower-making, allowing members to connect spiritually while also learning new skills. The day continued with a fellowship lunch where members from each ward and branch had the chance to enjoy a delicious meal together, further strengthening the bonds within the stake.
In the afternoon, the spirit continued to uplift as the group watched the General Relief Society anniversary broadcast during a devotional session. The celebration culminated in a Faith and Legacy Tribute Video, highlighting the remarkable contributions and stories of women from across the stake. An E-Legacy Wall was also launched on the Cadiz Stake Relief Society page, encouraging members to share messages for future generations of sisters.
This anniversary celebration was a beautiful reminder of the legacy of faith, service, and love that continues to shape the Cadiz Stake Relief Society. The Stake Relief Society Presidency are thankful for the sisters who made this event possible and look forward to continuing this journey together in faith.
