It's not the material, financial or achievements makes us reign in this Life,
All we need is The Bread and Water
Some of us felt like their prayer was not answered by God but the truth is the answer was already given,
Genesis 22:14 NKJV
14 And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.”
It's the same place where Jesus Christ gave His Life for us,
The BREAD לֶחֶם lechem
Jesus is the bread of life ( John 6:25-59) that came down from heaven,
and surprisingly, Jesus was born in Bethlehem (house of bread)
The bread that came down from heaven is The Word of God that became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1-14)
Every time we hear and believe the word of God, we also receive and eat
the bread of life,
FYI: the word "lechem" לֶחֶם is also shared root letter for fight "
lehilacham" להילחם
The bread is the The Word of God that serves not only as food but as sword for warfare
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The WATER ( Living Water)
Symbolize the Holy Spirit, eternal life, satisfaction, comfort, cleansing, protection, justice and righteousness,
John 4:14
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
The Water is the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39)
And the fruit of the Holy Spirit is
Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
It's the same fruit we received from the vine in John 15,
The truth is , the real satisfaction, the real rest, the quench for our cravings and thirst is in the BREAD ( the word of God, Jesus) and LIVING WATER ( Holy spirit)
In Matthew 6:33 Jesus said
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Urge or desire first the kingdom of God, and what is the kingdom of God
Romans 14:17
for the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Therefore, urge or desire first peace , joy and righteousness freely given by His grace through the Holy Spirit and all these things ( tangible things , "financial, healing, achievements, relationship, home, cars , clothing etc.) shall be added to us,
I got this quote from our pastor, pastor jun yu during Grace Discovery Thursday service,
" Kung Meron Kang dalawang bagay na dapat Meron ka sa mundong ito, ito ay Ang karunungan Ng Diyos ( wisdom of God ) at kapangyarihan Ng Diyos (power of God)"
It is the word of God and the Holy Spirit the provision already provided for us,
The bread and the water
Jesus and the Spirit of God,
