"Let us seek reconciliation"

Hebrews 12:14

"Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord."

It is a wonderful feeling to be at peace with everyone especially our family, friends, and fellow believers knowing we harbor no anger toward anyone. Reconciliation is a beautiful virtue that grants us peace and a humble heart; holiness, in turn, draws us closer to God. The Scriptures urge us to strive for reconciliation and holiness, as these are characteristics of those who are close to God. Let us therefore ask the Lord for a heart ready to humble itself before others and our fellow believers; this reflects the very reason He saved us, and it allows us to share with others the love we have experienced from our Lord.

Prayer: Teach me, Lord, how to be humble so that I may be able to reconcile with others and follow Your will, which sanctifies me. Thank You, Lord. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.

"More Important"

Matthew 23:26-28

26. "Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean."

27. โ€œWoe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean."

28. "In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."

This verse shows that God is more concerned with the condition of our hearts than any outward appearance or any religious practices. The content of our hearts cannot be deceived, that is why God is looking at it. Whatever its content is, that is what we are. Because it is very important to be pure and sound in heart before God because that is what He is looking at. That is why Jesus should be the one sitting on the throne of our hearts and not our worldly desires. And God desires our deep love, loyal devotion, and full attention more than our outward obedience.

Prayer: Forgive me Lord if I become just a showman in my service. I pray for a new heart so that my life may be pleasing before you. Thank you Lord. In the Name of Jesus our Savior Amen.

"The Peace Jesus Brings"

John 14:27

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

The peace that comes from the Lord differs from the peace the world offers; it does not depend on a quiet environment. Even amidst chaos or the storms of life, you can still possess peace deep within your heart. Let us, therefore, fix our faith on the Lord so that we are not swept away by the trials of this world. Let us seek peace for our hearts in Jesus, and we shall never be troubled, for only He can grant us true peace, a peace that remains steadfast even while we undergo trials. Whenever we feel afraid or troubled, let us turn to Jesus, for it is only in His presence that we find true peace.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that the peace You possess becomes mine, enabling me to overcome whatever trials I am facing; thank You for the hope and blessings You provide. Thank You, Lord, for the peace You bring to my heart. I surrender all my worries to You, for I cannot bear them on my own. Thank You, Lord. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.

"Let Us Turn Away from Evil"

2 Corinthians 7:1

"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."

The Lord Jesus has cleansed us through His holy blood and continues to sanctify us so that we may be worthy of Him; however, we can become defiled again if we return to the sins we once committed. Therefore, let us cherish the blood that washed away our sins by continuing to allow God to cleanse us. Let us shun the evil things that would defile us, for they are not worth sacrificing the promises the Lord has made to those who believe in Him. If we commit a sin, let us immediately repent and turn away from it. Let us not allow sin which separates us from God to take up residence in our lives.

Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for the promises that sustain us in this life. Please forgive me, Lord, for the sins I have committed; continue to cleanse and guide me onto the right path. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.

"Let Us Express Our Gratitude"

1 Corinthians 14:16-17 NIV

"Otherwise when you are praising God in the Spirit, how can someone else, who is now put in the position of an inquirer, say โ€œAmenโ€ to your thanksgiving, since they do not know what you are saying? You are giving thanks well enough, but no one else is edified."

It is good to thank God in our private lives, but it is even better to offer thanks before many witnesses, as this allows us to give Him greater glory. By expressing our gratitude in the presence of others, we reveal to them the greatness of God and bring Him more glory by exalting His name.

Prayer: Lord, I pray that others may see how good You have been in my life through the praises and thanksgiving shared before many witnesses. Thank You, Lord. In the name of Jesus, our Savior, Amen.
