🌍 Unreached of the Day: Abai Sungai in Malaysia 🌏

Summary:
The Abai Sungai primarily reside in Sabah, Malaysia, and are concentrated mainly in one village. The primary occupation of this community is fishing.

Ministry Obstacles:
There are no Christian materials in the Abai Sungai language, which means that they must hear the gospel message in someone else's language. That could make the gospel appear foreign to them.

Prayer Focus:
📌 Pray for dreams and visions among Abai Sungai that will lead them to seek and find Christ.
📌 Ask God to grant spiritual openness among these Muslims so that many might come together to learn of and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ.
📌 Pray for a powerful movement to Christ among the Abai Sungai of Malaysia.
📌 Pray for an eagerness to hear and heed God’s word among this people group.

🌍 Unreached of the Day: Nat (Muslim traditions) in India 🌏

Summary:
Nat comes from the Sanskrit word nata, meaning dancer, a term associated with their acrobatic skills. They have historically been dancers, singers, and acrobats, often living as Romani, but presently are employed in a number of vocations, including livestock production. The Muslim Nats are divided into three or four subdivisions, and each of these is made up of several clans. Tattooing is common for women, especially on the forehead. Although they are Sunni Muslims, they have a number of animistic and traditional beliefs. They marry strictly within their own people group, and generally do not associate with other groups, even those who are Muslim.

Ministry Obstacles:
This community is especially insular, not open to outside influences.

Prayer Focus:
📌 Pray for a movement of Jesus to heal and strengthen Muslim Nat communities. Pray for the Nat to understand and embrace that Jesus wants to bless their families and neighborhoods.
📌 Pray for Holy Spirit-anointed believers from the Muslim Nat to change their society from within. Pray for a movement in which the Holy Spirit leads and empowers disciples to make more disciples.
📌 May this people group have Holy Spirit reverence for the Lord when they hear His word.

And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was above all the people, and as he opened it all the people stood. And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God, and all the people answered, Amen, Amen, lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the LORD with their faces to the ground.

🌍 Unreached of the Day: Berber, Ghomara in Morocco 🌏

Summary:
The Ghomara are one of many Berber groups. The Berbers are a North African people group conquered by Muslim invaders in the 7th century. The name "Berber," derived from the Latin word "barbarian," was given to them by the Romans in the third century. Today, the term "Berber" refers to any native speaker of one of the Berber languages. Now, most Berbers refer to themselves as the Imazighen, which means "men of noble origin." Berbers are generally bilingual, speaking both their Berber dialect and Arabic.

Ministry Obstacles:
There are very few Christian followers among the Ghomara Berbers in Morocco. It will be difficult to get any of them to give a fair hearing to any idea coming from the outside.

Prayer Focus:
📌 Pray for a spiritual hunger among Ghomara Berbers that will lead them to the cross and the empty grave.
📌 Pray for Ghomara Berbers to put their faith and hope in Christ, paving the way for a movement to Christ.
📌 Ask God to send workers to the Ghomara, and that those workers will meet people who will welcome them into their communities with the gospel of peace.
📌 Pray that you will not pass up the chance for short, but effective prayers when you intercede for the nations.

🌍 Unreached of the Day: Arab, Saudi - Najdi in Saudi Arabia 🌏

Summary:
The Najdi have a unique position between Arabs and Bedouins, making them Bedouin Arabs. Their traditional homeland is the Arabian Desert, though some groups migrated north into the Negev Desert. Many Najdi Bedouins still live in Jordan, primarily raising sheep, goats, and camels for milk, meat, and transport. Life is harsh; they have no permanent homes and live in portable black tents made from woven goat hair, which protects against desert heat and sandstorms. Najdi culture values poetry and storytelling to preserve history and moral lessons, while weaving and embroidery decorate tents, clothing, and camel saddles. Social life often includes coffee ceremonies and music played on the rebab - a single-stringed instrument. Hospitality is central, and strangers are always offered food, water, and shelter.

Ministry Obstacles:
Little or no Christian witness exists for them, nor any example of living Christianity for the Najdi Arabs to see or experience. In a region that is considered to have the two holiest places in Islam, it is often neglected as a place to live for Christians, making it difficult to have ties with the community and spread God's word.

Prayer Focus:
📌 Pray for these remote Muslims to have dreams and visions of the risen Savior and be drawn to him.
📌 Pray for workers who are willing to endure hardships, learn a difficult language, and produce gospel materials for these people who need to hear good news.
📌 Pray for the rapid spread of the gospel among the Nadji Arabs. Pray that the Najdi Arabs would seek Christ as the only means of salvation.
📌 Pray for the Lord to raise up believers from among today’s people group that will faithfully and fervently pray for their people.

Let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned.

🌍 Unreached of the Day: Lamira in Sudan 🌏

Summary:
The Lamira are a small tribe in the remote Nuba Mountains in the state of South Kordofan, Sudan. They grow their own corn, sorghum, and millet. They raise cattle, sheep, and goats, and consume the meat and milk of the livestock. They have no known schools or healthcare facilities. The Lamira are Sunni Muslims and follow the teachings of the Koran and tribal beliefs. The primary language spoken by the Lamira is Sudanese Arabic. The Lamira place a strong importance on family and hold to traditional values. Households tend to be multigenerational.

Ministry Obstacles:
Roads are almost non-existent in this area, and transportation of goods and services is a challenge, especially in the rainy season. How can Christ's ambassadors get to them? It will take those who are willing to live in discomfort to reach these Muslims.

Prayer Focus:
📌 Pray for their needs to be met, and for them to be thankful to the Lord for his goodness and love.
📌 Pray for Lamira disciples to encourage many more of their people to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
📌 Pray for compassionate and dedicated workers to desire to serve the Lamira.
📌 Pray for the Holy Spirit to open the hearts of the Lamira to accept the message and teachings of Jesus Christ.
📌 Pray that today’s people group will indeed see the vast difference between the Lord and any other deity. Pray that they will follow Him.

And Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you go limping between two different opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him." And the people did not answer him a word.
