In Matthew 27:62-65, the people remembered Jesus' prophesy. Holy Saturday recalls that the quiet of Jesus' grave is still God’s plans never stopping! In His greatest sacrifice Christ granted the gift of eternal life and the salvation of all who believe, and soon He will rise again! Use this time to trust Jesus and prepare your heart for all that He has in store for you.

As crises continue to unfold around the world, we can easily become consumed and overwhelmed, forgetting who Christ is. May we not forget that He is greater than every fear and still holds everything in His hands.

Many times we might believe that Jesus will never understand our struggles, but we forget that He was also human. Maundy Thursday reminds us of Jesus’ deep anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane, as He faced the cross and the weight of the sins of the world. In His turmoil, He cried out to God in prayer in Matthew 26:39, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

But despite His fears, Jesus stayed anchored in God in obedience. Jesus shows us that true faith is not the absence of fear, but the choice to trust and obey God in the midst of it. In times of uncertainty, how have you fixed your eyes on Jesus even when you are afraid?

It can be hard to recognize but in our lifestyles, decisions, and even relationships, we may find ourselves performing for the approval of others rather than living in a way that pleases God.

On Holy Tuesday, we are reminded that faith anchored in Christ is shown by how we live. Jesus encounters both the fig tree full of leaves but without fruit, and the religious leaders who merely questioned His authority. Both examples show how easy it is to appear holy outwardly while failing to live it truly.

Mark 11:22-24 says that Jesus doesn’t only want us to speak of belief; He invites us to come to Him in faith. In all we do, may we trust Him fully and walk in the new life only He can give. As you choose to follow Jesus, how have your priorities begun to change?

Ever catch yourself going over the same wound in your mind? Bitterness weighs us down, but God calls us to forgiveness and restoration. Surrender the hurt and let Him heal your heart.

Blessed Resurrection Sunday!

Sin has lost its power because Jesus has come to live within us! Christ has risen—abolished death and opening the only way to eternal life! His truth lives on as we carry His story. We live on in freedom, no longer bound by fear or shame, but strengthened by grace and guided by His unfailing love.
