STEPPING FORWARD IN HIS SUFFICIENT GRACE | Philippians 3:13–14
As we celebrate our 31st Church Anniversary on August 16, 2026, we are reminded of this message from Jesus: Keep moving forward. Keep pursuing Christ. Keep your eyes on the prize.
As believers in Christ, we are called to live for Jesus and remain devoted to Him alone. Like Paul, we recognize that we have not yet reached the fullness of spiritual maturity, but our journey of faith continues. There is always room to grow in our faith, holiness, and service as we faithfully follow Christ until His return.
Stepping forward means forgetting what lies behind and reaching toward what lies ahead. Our past does not have to control our present pursuit of Christ. Past sins that have already been forgiven, past achievements that may lead to pride, and past disappointments that may discourage us should not keep us from moving forward. Instead, we are called to persevere and intentionally pursue Christ with determination, keeping our eyes on the finish line.
Our goal is Christlikeness and the heavenly calling. Every step of faithful service matters, because our labor for Christ is not in vain. We look forward to the prize, the fulfillment of God’s calling and the full enjoyment of eternal life, resurrection, and glory.
As we look back on 31 years of God’s faithfulness, may we also look forward with renewed faith and courage. The past is behind us. The present calls us to keep pursuing Christ. The future reminds us to keep our eyes on the prize.
Therefore, let us continue stepping forward, not relying on our own strength, but trusting in the sufficient grace and strength of Christ.
May our lives continually declare:
“For to me to live is Christ.” — Philippians 1:21
And may we remain faithful to our heavenly calling until the return of our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. 👑✨
31 years of God’s faithfulness.
Still stepping forward.
Still pursuing Christ.
Still trusting in His sufficient grace.
To God be all the glory in Christ! 🙏✨
