Aug 8 & 9, 2026 Recap | Sermon Series: "Encounters With Jesus"

In our 8th sermon message, "The Criminal Encounters With Jesus (Luke 23:39-43).

One of the two criminals crucified with Jesus was saved through his repentance and faith, showing that it is never too late to turn back to God.

Whoever you are, no matter what sins you have committed, if you repent and place your faith in Jesus, you will be saved. You will receive eternal life and be with Him in His kingdom, just like that criminal.

We cannot be saved by our own good works; rather, good works are the natural fruit of our faith in God.

Aug 1 & 2, 2026 Recap | Sermon Series: "Encounters With Jesus"
In our sixth sermon message, "Mary Magdalene's Encounter with Jesus" (Luke 8:1–3), we saw how Jesus healed Mary Magdalene by casting out seven demons. Delivered completely from bo***ge and torment, she became a devoted follower who believed deeply in who He was. She faithfully walked with Him and supported His ministry financially out of her own means.

No matter what your past looks like, Jesus can transform your life just as He did for Mary Magdalene.

Following Jesus requires practical stewardship—willingly using our resources, time, and unique capabilities for God's work.

In Christ, We Are One. ☝🏻

Highlights from our sermon entitled, "Paul’s Encounter with Jesus," based on Acts 9:1–24.

In this passage, we see the conversion of Paul on the Damascus road. We witness his transformation from a persecutor of Jesus' followers into a bold preacher who declares that Jesus is the Son of God.

No matter who you are, God can change you just as He changed Paul from a persecutor of believers into an Apostle.

July 18 & 19, 2026 Weekend Worship Services & others @ Cabiao Outreach & San Antonio @ Buliran

Highlights of our sermon message, entitled "A Samaritan Woman Encounters Jesus" from the passage John 4:6-10.

After the Samaritan woman's personal encounter with Jesus at the well, she immediately ran back to her town and told them, "Jesus knew everything I did, and He is the Messiah."

The woman's testimony brought them to see Jesus, and they believed and said that He is indeed the Savior of the world.

Let us do what the Samaritan woman did: proclaim the good news of who Jesus is.

In our 4th sermon message entitled "A Desperate Woman Encounters Jesus," taken from our text in Luke 8:43-48.

It is about the story of a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and whom no one could heal. She was healed because of her faith in Jesus.

Faith is the key to our physical and spiritual healing.

July 5, 2026. ECMI CABIAO: Worship services at our three satellite churches (Concepcion, Maligaya Duluhan & Natividad South)

Highlights of the sermon message entitled ‘Demoniac Encounter With Jesus,’ taken from our passage, Luke 8:26-39.

Jesus heals a man possessed by a legion of demons. Prior to this, the man had been tormented for a long time and continually driven by the demons into the isolated wilderness.

The newly healed man wants to go with Jesus, but Jesus instructs him to return home and declare everything God has done for him.

The man obeys, proclaiming Jesus' work throughout the entire city.

As Christians, we must do what the healed man did. We must follow and obey to share the good news of what God has done for us after we have a genuine personal encounter with Jesus.

June 27 & 28, 2026. Here is a recap of our ECMI CABIAO weekend worship services. We are now in the second week of our "Encounters with Jesus" sermon series, featuring a message titled "Andrew Encounters Jesus." Taken from John 1:35-42

When Andrew returned home after his personal encountered with Jesus, the first person he looked for was his brother, Peter.

He shared that they had found the Messiah. He did not just tell Peter who Jesus was; he also brought Peter to meet Jesus.

As Christians, we should follow Andrew's example.

Let us share who Jesus is with our friends & loved ones and invite them to our church.

A genuine personal encounter with Jesus transforms our lives. This transformation is seen through a person's boldness and conviction to share Jesus and bring others to church.

Be like Andrew and let us be the pathway to salvation for our friends and loved ones.‘

June 20 & 21: ECMI Cabiao worship services at our five satellite churches (Buliran, Santa Rita, Concepcion, Maligaya Duluhan, and Natividad South).

We are now starting our new sermon series, entitled "Encounters with Jesus."

Our first sermon message is "Zacchaeus Encounters Jesus" from Luke 19:1–10.

In this message, Zacchaeus did not let his short stature stop him from seeing Jesus. Despite the obstacles and the crowd, he refused to let anything prevent him from his desire to see Jesus. Instead, he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree.

After his personal encounter with Jesus, he demonstrated true repentance by giving half of his wealth to the poor and paying back four times the amount he had cheated from others.

True repentance is the key to godly living; without it, we cannot grow or draw closer to God.

If we evaluate the barriers keeping us from God, we should follow Zacchaeus's example and overcome those obstacles to see Jesus.
