A religious choral group composed of elementary and high school students, and professionals of the Parish of San Nicolas de Tolentino, Cabatuan, Iloilo.

19th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Todayโ€™s Gospel reminds us that storms are part of our journey of faith. There are times when we feel tired, uncertain, overwhelmed, or afraid. Yet in the midst of every storm, Jesus comes to remind us: โ€œTake courage, it is I; do not be afraid.โ€

Every time we sing, we are called to lead hearts closer to Christโ€”to become voices of faith, hope, and prayer, especially for those who may be going through their own storms.

May every hymn we offer be more than a song; may it be a prayer. May every voice become a witness to Godโ€™s love, and may every Mass be an opportunity for us to help others encounter Jesus.

And when our own faith begins to waver, may we always trust that Jesus is near, reaching out His hand to lift us up, strengthen us, and remind us that we are never alone.

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

"There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves." โ€” Matthew 14:16

There are Sundays when we wonder if what we bring is enough. But today's Gospel reminds us that God doesn't ask for abundanceโ€”He simply asks us to offer what we have.

Like the five loaves and two fish, we bring our voices, our time, and our hearts to Him. They may seem small, but in His hands, they become part of something greater. Through every hymn and every prayer we sing, we hope to lead others closer to Christ and give Him all the glory He deserves.

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 13:44โ€“52

In today's Gospel, Jesus reminds us that the Kingdom of Heaven is the greatest treasure we can ever possess. Like the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, knowing and following Christ is worth more than anything this world can offer. May we ask God, like Solomon, for the wisdom to recognize what truly matters and to place Him above all else. When Christ becomes our greatest treasure, every sacrifice becomes an act of love, leading us to the lasting joy of His Kingdom.

In today's gospel, Jesus reminds us that good and evil often exist side by side in the world. Like the wheat and the weeds, we may not always understand why God allows difficulties or injustice, but He calls us to trust His perfect timing. At the end, God will separate what is good from what is evil with perfect justice and mercy.

๐Ÿ“– Matthew 11:25โ€“30

In today's Gospel, Jesus gently invites us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." Amid the worries, responsibilities, and challenges of daily life, He reminds us that we do not have to carry our burdens alone. When we place our trust in Him, He fills our hearts with His peace, strength, and hope.

May we answer Christ's loving invitation and find true rest in His presence. Let us continue to walk in faith, surrender our fears to Him, and trust that His love will always sustain us. Happy Sunday, and may God bless you and your loved ones!

As a church choir, we are called not only to sing with our voices but to witness with our lives. Every song we offer is a prayer, and a reminder that when hearts are united in Christ, hope is never silenced.

Today, we stand in harmony with โ€œThe White Movementโ€ of the Archdiocese of Jaro a faith-based, non-partisan expression of our deepest convictions as a people guided by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We do not raise our voices in anger, but in faith. We do not sing with hatred, but with loveโ€”love for God, love for our country, and love for the truth.
