Peryang Pambata goes to Brgy. Doña Josefa, Palayan City in celebration of the outreach ministry’s 4th anniversary! 👦🧒👧

This coming September 5, we are bringing the message of hope plus fun-filled and meaningful childhood experiences to the Aeta Tribe community, especially the children, through a joyful day of traditional Filipino peryang pambata, parlor games, and other activities. 🎠🎨🤸‍♀️

We humbly ask everyone to pray for the success of this event—for good weather, safe travels, generous hearts, and meaningful moments that will bring smiles to the children. May God bless all the organizers, volunteers, partners, and everyone who will help make this initiative possible.

Together, let us spread God’s saving Gospel, share joy, create memories, and bring hope to the Aeta children. 🌻✨

Prayer is intentionally conveying a message to God.

PRAY TO…

Where or with whom should we pray?

1. Alone in your private room (Verses 5–6)
2. With your family (1 Peter 3:7)
3. In small gatherings (Matthew 18:19–20; Acts 4:29–31)
4. In worship services
• Corporate worship is mainly prayer structured around the word of God to us. There is Scripture reading. Pray that our hearts would receive it, understand it, believe it, and be changed by it.
5. Everywhere (Matthew 14:30; Mark 9:24)
• Anywhere, any time, cry out to him. He loves to be your friend.

Why should we pray?

Topic: 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝
Series: The Fundamentals of Christianity

Two of the biggest problems are:
1) Our prayers are sometimes not answered as we ask.
2) If God is sovereign and controls and plans all things, what’s the point in praying?

Answer for God’s sovereignty:
👉 God has foreknown and predestinated everything that happens in heaven above or in the earth beneath.
• Might it not as logically be asked why we breathe, eat, move, or do anything? We have an answer which satisfies us that our prayers are in the predestination.
◦ Destiny decrees that we should pray—therefore, we must pray; destiny decrees that we shall be answered, and the answer comes to us.

What about the other problem with prayer—that we pray and the answer we long for does not come?

1. It says we may not be praying according to God’s will (1 John 5:14).
2. We have cherished sin that we will not let go from our lives (Psalm 66:18).
3. We have man-centered and not God-centered motives (James 4:3)
4. We do not believe that God will do it (Mark 11:24).
5. God wants you to persevere, and is testing your obedience to his command (Luke 18:1).
6. God is doing far more every time you pray than you can imagine (Daniel 10:2,12)
7. There is a dynamic to prayer that we have not yet learned.
👉 John 15:7, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.”
👉 Acts 6:4

How ABIDING IN HIS WORDS answers our prayers?
1. The Word abiding in us functions to guide our prayers.
2. The Word abiding in us functions to build our faith.
3. The Word abiding in us functions to transform us morally and spiritually.

Topic: SAVING FAITH: TREASURING CHRIST

Saving faith is a receiving act, not a giving act or a performing act.

God justifies through faith because faith receives Christ as the sole ground of God being one hundred percent for us.

👉 What do we receive Christ as?
✅ Saving faith receives a treasured Christ.
• Whether we are receiving Christ as Savior, or Lord, or Shepherd, or Friend, saving faith receives Christ as a treasured Savior, a treasured Lord, a treasured Shepherd, a treasured Friend, a treasured righteousness.

👉 What is happening in our souls when we experience saving faith?
✅ We are experiencing the spiritual affection that corresponds to the greatness and beauty and value of Christ.
• Saving faith includes knowledge, assent, and trust.
🔺Knowing includes a spiritual sight of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4, 6)
🔺 Assenting includes the consent of the soul to the value of that glory (Philippians 3:7–8)
🔺 Trusting includes the treasuring of that value as eternally satisfying (John 6:35)
