𝓜𝓮𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓵 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓛𝓪𝓭𝔂 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓗𝓸𝓵𝔂 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓪𝓻𝔂

We celebrate this day in honor of the Holy League's victory over the Ottoman Empire on October 7, 1571, at the Battle of Lepanto. Despite the overwhelming strength of the Turkish armies, the Christians prevailed thanks to Mary's intercession and the recitation of the Most Holy Rosary.

"The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary shall not perish." 13. “The Rosary is the most beautiful and the most rich in graces of all prayers; it is the prayer that touches most the Heart of the Mother of God…and if you wish peace to reign in your homes, recite the family Rosary.”

Let us Pray
“ Grant, above all, O Virgin Mary, that the study of thy fifteen mysteries may form in my soul, little by little, a luminous atmosphere, pure, strengthening, and fragrant, which may pe*****te my understanding, my will, my heart, my memory, my imagination, my whole being.
Amen.”

“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

"Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing." — Psalms 100:2

This verse from the Book of Psalms perfectly captures the essence of the altar servers' calling. They joyfully serve the Lord, standing in His presence with songs of praise and hearts filled with reverence. As they assist the clergy during Mass and other liturgical celebrations, they remind us that worship is not just an obligation but a privilege filled with gladness and gratitude. Through their actions, they teach us to approach God with a spirit of joy and enthusiasm, embracing our duties with love and devotion. May their example inspire us to wholeheartedly serve the Lord in all that we do.

Let us use this Altar Server Month as an opportunity to express our appreciation for these young servants of God. Their commitment to the altar is an inspiration to the entire community, and we are grateful for their presence in our midst. As we witness their dedication, let us also remember that we too have a role in serving God and others, whether on the altar or in our daily lives. May the joy and enthusiasm of our altar servers motivate us to deepen our relationship with God and to approach every task with gladness and gratitude. Together, let's continue to serve the Lord, united in faith and love.
