โDeuteronomy 30:19
โ19 โToday I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

โGod gives us choices every day. We choose what we will prioritize, what we will listen to, what we will follow, and ultimately, ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ต๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐ต ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐บ.

โIn Deuteronomy 30, Moses reminded Israel that they had a choice. They could turn away from God and follow their own ways, or they could return to the Lord, obey His voice, and choose life.
โ
โGod reminding us today,
โChoosing life is not simply choosing a better situationโit is choosing God.
โ
โIn verse 20, Moses says, โFor the LORD is your life.โ True life is found in staying close to Him.
โ
โSometimes we want God's blessings without choosing God's ways. We want His promises, but we struggle with obedience. We want His direction, but we still want to control our own path. Yet God reminds us that the life He offers is connected to loving Him, obeying Him, and holding fast to Him.
โ
โChoosing God may not always be the easiest choice.
โ
โThere will be moments when doing what is right is difficult. There will be moments when obedience requires us to let go of something we love. There will be moments when following God's Word means going against what everyone else is doing.
โ
โBut every time we choose God's way over our own, we are choosing life.
โ
โAnd maybe today, God is asking you a simple question:
โโWhat will you choose?โ
โ
โWill you choose your feelings or His Word?
โWill you choose comfort or obedience?
โWill you choose the world's approval or God's approval?
โWill you choose your own understanding or trust His direction?
โ
โYou don't have to make every decision for your whole life today.
โ
โJust choose God today.
โ
โChoose to pray today.
โChoose to obey today.
โChoose to forgive today.
โChoose to trust today.
โChoose to follow His Word today.
โ
โBecause small choices made consistently can shape the direction of our entire life.
โ
โAnd when God shows you the right path, choose it.
โ
โBecause when we choose God, we choose life.
โ
โPrayer:
โLord, help me to choose You every day. When my feelings lead me in one direction, remind me of Your Word. When obedience is difficult, give me strength. When I am tempted to follow my own way, help me trust Your way. Teach me to love You, obey You, and hold fast to You. May my choices today lead me closer to You. I choose You, Lord. I choose life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
