📣 Calling the Attention of All Youth Members!

Good day, everyone! We will be having a practice today at 1:00 PM at St. Ann Parish Church as part of our preparation for the upcoming Misa de Gallo on December 16.

This practice is for those who will dance and sing, as our participation will be right after the Opening Salvo during the 4:00 AM Mass. Your presence and cooperation are highly appreciated.

As we enter this sacred season of waiting and hope, we gather as one family to reflect, renew, and rekindle our faith. This year’s theme, “With Mary, We Await the Light,” reminds us to journey through Advent with the same humility, trust, and joyful expectation that Mary carried in her heart.

Join us as we pause from the busyness of life to listen, share, pray, and prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ. Two days filled with meaningful talks, fellowship, candle-lighting, prayer, Mass, and moments of encountering God’s presence.

✨ Together, let us walk with Mary — the guiding star who leads us closer to the Light of the World.
May this recollection strengthen our spirit of service, deepen our love for the Church, and renew our mission as altar servers and youth of Saint Anne Parish.

Saint Anne Parish - National Youth Day Celebration 2024
Theme: “ Those who hope in the Lord will run and not be weary “ ( Isaiah 40:31)

Mechanics for the Oratorical Contest

Eligibility:
Open to all youth members of Tubay Saint Anne Parish.
Participants must be aged 13-39 years.

Speech Piece:

The oration piece must be “YOUTH” by Samuel Ullman. Participants should deliver this piece with their own style and interpretation.

Submission :

The video recording of the participant's oration (maximum of 5 minutes) must be submitted through the official Saint Anne group chat by the Chapel or GKK President.

The deadline for submission is December 15, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Content Guidelines:
Participants must deliver the piece as written, with no alterations to the original text.

Expression, style, and creativity in delivery are highly encouraged.

Posting and Judging Process:

Submitted videos will be reviewed and judged by a panel of experts selected by the parish committee.
The top 3 winners will be announced during the National Youth Day Celebration on December 16, 2024.

Prizes:
1st Prize: ₱5,000
2nd Prize: ₱3,000
3rd Prize: ₱2,000

Criteria for Judging:

Delivery and Articulation 40% Clear pronunciation, effective intonation, and confident delivery.

Expression and Emotion 30% Ability to convey the meaning and emotions of the piece effectively.

Stage Presence 20% Poise, gestures, eye contact, and overall presentation as seen in the video.

Adherence to Guidelines 10% Submission on time and compliance with contest rules.

Total: 100%
