THE DISCIPLINE OF MEDITATION
(Joshua 1:8)

“Wala kay makuha na portion kung dili nimo e absorb ang pulong sa Ginoo.”

WHAT HAPPENS DURING MEDITATION?

1. Meditation is a holy exercise of the mind
2. Read the Bible slowly and intentionally
3. Meditation requires time and effort
4. Meditating on God’s word becomes pleasing in God’s sight because it results in the transformation of lives.
(Romans 2:13)

Tips on how to meditate on God's word:

1. Make a specific time and place each day
2. Start with prayer
3. Choose a small section of the scriptures
4. Consider how you can apply the passage in your life

Title: Citizens of Heaven (Philippians 3:20)

“Our citizenship in heaven begins the moment we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.”

As citizens of heaven, here are three things we must do and always remember:

1. Work out our salvation
- God must be seen in our lives, and His character should become evident in us.
- We begin to obey Him and turn away from sin.

2. Strengthen our prayer life
- It may seem basic, but it is our most powerful weapon against trials and the works of the enemy.

3. Be involved in God’s work/business
- God calls us to take part in His mission.
- We are called to preach and share the Gospel.

TITLE: I AM A BRANCH
TEXT: JOHN 15:1-7

1. Jesus: The True Vine
- Jesus is the vine, and when we remain connected to Him, we receive spiritual strength, guidance, and direction, enabling us to bear spiritual fruit.
2. The Father: The Vinedresser
- Just like a vinedresser, He will take care of us, He will nurture us, ensuring that we grow and produce fruit.
3. Believers: The Branches
- We are the branches and must remain in Jesus, because apart from Him we cannot bear fruit. A branch that does not produce fruit will be thrown into the fire and burned.

To all Proverbs 31 Women:

Who can find a virtuous and capable wife?
She is more precious than rubies. (v. 10)

There are no gems or material possessions more precious than you. You are truly priceless for your husband and children.

She is energetic and strong,
a hard worker. (v.17)

Your strength inspires us, and we are deeply grateful for your unwavering dedication, working tirelessly from dawn till dusk.

When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness. (v.26)

We are truly grateful for the lessons you’ve taught us. Your guidance and wisdom have shaped us, helping us grow with compassion and insight.

Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” (v.28-29)

For your husband and children, you are truly one of a kind. No other woman could be a better wife and mother than you.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised. (v.30)

Continue to fear the Lord, walk in His ways, and lead your family closer to Him.

Honor her for all that her hands have done, let her deeds publicly declare her praise. (v.31)

Today, we honor you and give thanks for your life. We pray that the Lord continues to bless you with strength, wisdom, peace, and all the wonderful things life has in store.
