HOSANNA!!! BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES!!

Today is Palm Sunday at New Calamba Mission special Mass presided by Rt. Rev'd Delfin Jr Callao. This marks the beginning of Holy Week, a significant period in the Christian calendar, commemorating Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

Palm Sunday is a day of celebration and reflection, as Christians remember Jesus' journey to Jerusalem, where he was welcomed with palm branches. The event is a reminder of Jesus' teachings on humility, sacrifice, and love.

The Mass at New Calamba Mission is likely to be a vibrant and meaningful celebration, with the congregation gathering to mark the start of Holy Week. Rt. Rev'd Delfin Jr Callao's homily may focus on the themes of faith, hope, and redemption, guiding the faithful as they embark on their spiritual journey.

This day commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where he was welcomed with palm branches and hailed as the Messiah. The event is a poignant reminder of Jesus' humility and servanthood, as he rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling ancient prophecies.

The Mass readings for Palm Sunday highlight the contrast between joy and sorrow, as the crowd's initial praise turns to demands for crucifixion. This duality invites reflection on human nature and divine purpose.

As you celebrate Palm Sunday, take a moment to ponder the significance of Jesus' journey to the cross and the ultimate sacrifice he made for humanity. The palm branches waved during the procession symbolize victory, triumph, and joy, but also serve as a reminder that true triumph comes through surrender.
