On October 18, 2025, the Sisters of St. Ann and the Lay Associates of Saint Ann (LASA) of Nasipit Community journeyed together in faith to the 7 pilgrim churches of the Diocese of Butuan in celebration of the Jubilee Year of Hope. A Pilgrimage of Hope marked by prayer, unity, and renewed mission. May the grace received echo in every heart and home we serve.

Youth Encounter: A Night of Prayer, Fellowship, and Faith

Last August 23, 2025, the Saint Ann's Youth (SAY) and SMCC Campus Ministry Officers gathered together at the Sisters of St. Ann Convent for a meaningful encounter that began with a solemn Eucharistic Adoration, grounding the evening in prayer and thanksgiving. They then shared an agape meal, followed by recreation activities and games that fostered joy and camaraderie.

The night deepened with faith sharing, where participants inspired one another through their stories of God’s presence, and with the veneration of the Cross, a moving reminder of Christ’s love. At dawn, the youth concluded the activity with the Holy Rosary before the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary, entrusting their lives to her maternal care.

The encounter was facilitated by Sr. Fay and Sr. Annie of the Nasipit Community, making the gathering not just a night of activities but a true journey of prayer, fellowship, and faith.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 219th Wedding Anniversary of our beloved founders Carlo and Giulia di Barolo. Along with this grace-filled occasion, our Lay Associates of St. Ann (LASA) - Nasipit Community renewed their commitment of faith and service, and we warmly welcomed eight new members into our Charismatic Family. LASA Holds Half-Day Recollection in Preparation for their Renewal of Promises (and Acceptance for the new members)

The Lay Associates of St. Ann (LASA) of Nasipit Community gathered today for a meaningful half-day recollection in preparation for the renewal of their promises and acceptance of the new members. Guided by the theme “Pagpadayon sa Panaw: Pagpuyo sa Gugma ug Paglaum sa Misyon,” the recollection offered the participants an opportunity to deepen their commitment as lay collaborators of the Sisters of St. Ann.

The spiritual exercise opened with a Bible enthronement and a symbolic candle-lighting, reminding everyone that Christ is the true light who guides the mission of LASA and strengthens their commitment to live in faith, hope, and love through service.
In the first part, they reflected on the charism of the congregation and how they can keep these alive in their families, workplaces, and larger community. The input also emphasized how our founders' legacy of faith, charity, and dedication must continue to inspire them in following Christ.

The second part of the recollection highlighted their role as the Charismatic Family of the Sisters of St. Ann in the present time. This reminded them that their mission is to witness God’s love and presence, especially among the young and the poor, through prayer, service, and solidarity.

Moments of silent reflection, group sharing, and prayer allowed the members to rediscover the beauty of their vocation as lay partners in the mission. As their last activity, they wrote their personal resolution as they begin another year of their journey as LASA members. The recollection concluded with the singing of the theme song of the Jubilee Year of Hope, uniting everyone in gratitude and hope as they renew their promises tomorrow.

The event became not only a spiritual renewal but also a joyful encounter of faith, reminding the LASA members of their special call to live and spread the charism of the Sisters of St. Ann in today’s world.

Karo'ng adlawa, among gisaulog ang kapistahan nila Santa Ana ug San Joaquin. Sulod sa Santos nga Misa nga gipinanguluhan ni Rev. Fr. Eulogio Junio, atubangan sa Ginoo ug sa among Lay Associates of Saint Ann (LASA family), kami nagpahigayon sa among renewal of vows. Kini nga Misa among gihalad alang sa mga biktima sa bagyo ug pagbaha sa nagkalain-laing dapit sa Luzon ug Visayas.
