🎉12 years of God’s relentless grace, unending faithfulness, and unshakeable love!

From day one to year twelve, GS Butuan stands as a living testimony that when God places a promise in a community, He carries it to completion. Looking back over these twelve incredible years, our hearts are completely overwhelmed with gratitude for everything He has done, everything He is doing, and all that is yet to come.

Today’s anniversary was more than just a milestone—it was a powerful, fresh reminder of who we are called to be in Christ. As we reflected on Colossians 3:12–15, we were reminded to wrap ourselves daily in:Compassion & Kindness: Walking with tender hearts toward one another.Humility & Gentleness: Lifting others up and serving with grace.Patience & Forgiveness: Bearing with one another, just as Christ forgave us.Love Above All: Binding our church family together in perfect unity.Through every season, His peace has ruled in our hearts, and today, our answer to His goodness is simple: we are thankful.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this 12-year journey—praying, serving, loving, and growing together. Here’s to honoring the foundation He built and stepping boldly into the next chapter of His plan for GS Butuan!

Today at Great Shepherd Butuan, we were reminded that purpose is never an accident—it is God's design. In a world that constantly pressures us to chase success, God calls us to pursue His will, knowing that His plans are always greater than our own.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in worship, fellowship, and the Word today. May we leave with renewed hearts, living each day with intention and faith, confident that God's purpose for us is filled with hope and a glorious future.

Today's Sunday Fellowship at Great Shepherd reminded us that faith is not built on our own efforts, but on the righteousness that comes through believing in Jesus Christ. As Romans 9:30–33 teaches, Christ is either the cornerstone we build our lives upon or the stone we stumble over. The choice is ours.

May our zeal always be grounded in God's truth, our worship fueled by His grace, and our lives reflect a faith that stands firm on the unshakable foundation of Christ.

GSBUTUAN Sunday Fellowship | Jesus and the Waves 🌊

Today, we were reminded that the same Jesus who walked on the waves is the same Jesus who walks with us through every storm of life.

As we gathered in worship, listened to God's Word, shared meals, laughter, and meaningful conversations, our hearts were encouraged to keep our eyes on Christ rather than on the waves around us. When fear rises, His presence remains greater. When life feels uncertain, His hand is still reaching out.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. Your presence made our fellowship even more meaningful. From worship and learning to sharing food and building friendships, every moment was a beautiful reminder that we are not meant to journey through life alone.

Today, we celebrate not only another year of your life but also the faithful servant God has called you to be. GS Butuan is truly blessed to have you as our pastor. While no one is perfect, we have seen your dedication, sacrifices, and the countless hours you pour into serving the Lord and caring for His people. Your commitment to the ministry continues to inspire and encourage us in our walk with Christ.

Thank you for every prayer offered, every message preached, every word of encouragement shared, and every act of service done, even when no one was watching. We may not always see the full weight of what you carry, but we recognize the love, effort, and faithfulness behind all that you do. Your life is a testimony that ministry is not about perfection but about faithfully answering God's call day after day.

As you celebrate this special day, we pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen, guide, and bless you abundantly.
