SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE does not prohibit the church to speak up and make criticism whenever necessary.

The clause "Separation of Church and State" prohibits the STATE, not the Church. The state is prohibited (a) to declare a state religion (b) to use public funds to finance the construction of churches (c) to use public funds in support of church's ministers, unless these ministers are working in public office (d) the state cannot pass a law prohibiting religious practices (e) the state cannot impose a law prohibiting the practice of religion.

PD of President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr. prohibits the cutting of trees except when public safety is at stake. This hazard to the community public must be assessed with the proper authority of the government.

The cutting of trees may be allowed because of public safety. However, the "hazard" should be assessed by the competent authority whether this is imaginative or real hazards.
