WHAT IF PRAYER WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE JUST ABOUT GETTING SOMETHING FROM GOD?

What if prayer was meant to be getting closer to God Himself?

We often pray when we need an answer.
When we are hurting.
When we are afraid.
When we need a breakthrough.

But prayer is so much more than a list of requests.

Prayer is relationship.

It is our invitation to pause, draw near, and simply say:

“Lord, I’m here. I want to hear You. I want to know You. I want to walk with You.”

During our PowerHouse Prayer Meeting, Sister Janine Almag, one of our young professional leaders, shared a powerful reminder from Mark 11:24:

“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

And through Philippians 4:6, we are reminded to bring everything to God—not with fear, but with prayer, petition, and thanksgiving.

Because sometimes, God changes the situation.

But sometimes, God changes us in the presence of Him.

And perhaps the greatest answer to prayer isn’t always “Yes.”

Sometimes, the greatest answer is simply His presence.

What if God isn’t looking for someone perfect…

What if He is looking for someone AVAILABLE?

Someone who will say:

“Yes, Lord.”
“Here I am.”
“Use me.”

This Sunday, we are reminded that in the hands of the Master, an ordinary vessel can become an instrument for an extraordinary purpose.

📖 “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use… ready for the Master to use you for every good work.”
— 2 Timothy 2:21 NLT

BROLC PowerHouse Prayer Meeting
July 31, 2026

The BROLC family gathered once again for a powerful and refreshing PowerHouse Prayer Meeting, where our hearts were strengthened through the Word of God shared by our Senior Pastor, Pastor Gerry Tabugon.

Drawing from Joshua Chapter 1, the message reminded every believer to remain steadfast and courageous in their walk with the Lord.

* God honors unwavering obedience. When we choose to obey God’s Word regardless of circumstances, He remains faithful to fulfill His promises.
