Today, we joyfully celebrate the Sto. Niรฑo de Cebu, the beloved image of the Child Jesus that reminds us of Godโ€™s closeness, humility, and enduring love. In the face of the Santo Niรฑo, we behold a King who comes not in power, but in tenderness, inviting us to trust Him with childlike faith.

Through centuries of devotion, the Sto. Niรฑo has been a sign of hope, protection, and blessing for the Filipino people. May this feast renew in our hearts a simple yet steadfast faith, joyful obedience, and unwavering trust in the Child who reigns forever.

With hearts full of gratitude and joy, the Ministry of Altar Servers of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish welcomed its newly installed batch on December 8, 2025, during the solemn celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, presided by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jorge Dosit V. Buot, DCB.

In his homily, Fr. Do reminded the newly installed altar servers that just as Maryโ€™s โ€œyesโ€ was pure, humble, and faithful, their service at the altar is also a sacred response to Godโ€™s call. He emphasized that serving the altar is not merely a role, but a mission to mirror Maryโ€™s obedience, reverence, and love for God, becoming living witnesses of holiness through simple yet faithful service.

May our new altar servers continue to grow in faith, discipline, and devotion, inspired by the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, immaculate in heart and steadfast in service. ๐Ÿ™

Today, the faithful community of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish joined the universal Church in a radiant celebration of the Solemnity of All Saints, a day filled with gratitude, remembrance, and hope. We gathered not only to honor the canonized saints whose names shine in our liturgical calendar, but also the countless unrecognized saints - ordinary men and women who lived extraordinary holiness in silence, humility, and love.

The Holy Mass for All Saintsโ€™ Day, presided over by our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Jorge Dosit V. Buot, DCB, was celebrated at the Brgy. Tiniwisan Public Cemetery. Surrounded by the sacred resting places of our loved ones, the faithful lifted prayers of thanksgiving and intercession, finding comfort in the promise of eternal life. The Blessing of the Faithful Departed followed, a profound gesture that reminded everyone that death is not the end, but the doorway to the fullness of life in Godโ€™s presence.

Fr. Jorgeโ€™s reflection invited everyone to see sainthood as a daily journey not a distant dream, but a call to holiness that begins in the ordinary. Every act of kindness, every prayer offered in secret, every struggle borne with love brings us closer to God. In his homily, he reminded us that the saints were once people like us... imperfect, yet persevering, sustained by faith and divine grace.

As the light of candles shimmered across the cemetery, our prayers rose like incense to heaven, bridging the visible and the invisible, the living and the departed. It was a moving scene of faith alive โ€” a communion of souls united in Christโ€™s love.

The St. Jude Thaddeus Parish extends heartfelt gratitude to all who joined this solemn celebration โ€” our parishioners, chapel officers, and dedicated ministries โ€” for their unwavering service and devotion. Your presence and participation made this day a beautiful testimony of faith, community, and love for God and His saints.

As we prepare for UNDAS 2025 and honor our departed loved ones through visit at cemeteries, let us continue to offer our prayers for them (cf. 2 Maccabees 12:46).

As the Catechism (no. 1032) emphasizes: โ€œFrom the beginning the Church has honored the memory of the dead and offered prayers in suffrage for them, above all the Eucharistic sacrifice, so that, thus purified, they may attain the beatific vision of God. The Church also commends almsgiving, indulgences, and works of penance undertaken on behalf of the dead.โ€

Praying the dead is one of the spiritual works of mercy. It is an act of hope rooted in our faith in the Resurrection of the Lord.

As we honor St. Jude Thaddeus, the Apostle of Hope and Patron of Impossible Causes, we lift our prayers with confidence in Godโ€™s boundless mercy. We rejoice with the families of the newly baptized as they welcome their children into the life of faith and the loving embrace of the Church.

As one parish community united in faith, we joyfully celebrated the Feast Day of our beloved patron, St. Jude Thaddeus, the Apostle of Hope and Advocate in Desperate Causes presided by Most Rev. Cosme Damian R. Almedilla DD, Bishop of Buutuan together the the concelebrating priests.

Todayโ€™s Gospel reflection, passionately shared by Rev. Erwin Semana, reminded us that being disciples of Christ demands courage, perseverance, and unwavering trust, especially when our mission leads us into difficult and uncertain paths. Just like St. Jude, who once walked with Jesus despite trials and rejection, we too are called to carry the light of faith into places where doubt, struggles, and hopelessness try to prevail.

Rev. Erwin beautifully emphasized that St. Jude Thaddeus was not merely a follower, but a fearless witness of the Good News โ€” chosen to bring hope to hearts in despair. His life invites us to rise above challenges, proclaim Christ with conviction, and become instruments of Godโ€™s mercy in the world. Today, we honor St. Jude not only as our patron, but as our guide toward a deeper and braver discipleship.

With hearts overflowing with thanksgiving, we extend our warmest gratitude to all the Sponsors of the Fiesta Mass, our dedicated Parish Pastoral Council and officers, and our committed parishioners who continuously support the Church with their prayers, generosity, and service. Your faith-filled dedication allowed this solemn celebration to flourish with grace and meaning.

May St. Jude Thaddeus intercede for every home and every heart in our parish. May his example move us to be bringers of hope and bearers of Christโ€™s love each day of our lives.
