Have you ever noticed that when friends gather, especially as adults, the common topic of conversation often revolves around life's challenges? It seems that as long as we are alive, problems are a constant presence in this imperfect and sometimes difficult world. However, in the midst of these struggles, we can find solace in God's love and goodness. He invites us to pause and reflect on His blessings, even in the midst of life's trials. So, my friends, rest your thoughts to Him as we come together to worship on this holy Sabbath day. May each of you experience a truly blessed Sabbath 🫶

Hi it has been awhile! I’ve through a lot of things, and I’m sure, you too! But the bottomline is, “God be praised because despite everything His goodness is unfathomable.”

Even an inspirer herself needs an inspiration- to work, to church and to life. Everybody needs glimpse of positivity to keep moving in life. The good thing is, we have the best ANCHOR, He is Jesus. As we sail, we know we have Him as protector and guide.

Why worry when you can pray? With God, let’s change our unbelief to confidence.

Northeastern Mindanao Academy recently hosted the highly anticipated Masterguide Convention from June 9 to 11, 2023, with the overarching theme of "Servitude." The convention brought together a vibrant gathering of masterguides from various clusters of Northeastern Mindanao Mission, who were inspired and empowered to embrace the call of servant leadership in their lives.

During the three-day event, attendees actively engaged in dynamic worship services, thought-provoking lectures, and interactive workshops. The convention featured inspiring guest speakers who shared their insights on servant leadership and practical ways to serve in various ministries.

As the convention concluded, participants left Northeastern Mindanao Academy with a renewed sense of purpose and passion for serving their churches, schools, and neighborhoods. The Masterguide Convention undoubtedly empowered Christian youth to embody the theme of servitude and make a difference in their communities.

The impact of the convention is expected to extend beyond the event, as these young believers carry the lessons learned and the spirit of servitude back to their respective clusters. This convention has played a vital role in shaping the hearts and minds of Christian youth, equipping them to become exemplary servant leaders who reflect the love of Christ in their service to others.

Northeastern Mindanao Mission facis beef up for FCAMP 2023!

Armed with passion and dedication, facilitators from Northeastern Mindanao Mission eagerly participated in FCAMP Facilitators’ Certification Seminar last April 14-16, 2023 at Forest Hills Academy, Magkiangkang, Bayugan City for Southern Caraga Districts & last April 21-23 at Northeastern Mindanao Mission Headquarters for Northern Caraga Districts with the theme "The Movers.”

“Preparing our facilitators for the upcoming FCAMP is a must. The very goal of this program is to capacitate them with the HOW rather than the WHAT of facilitating,” uttered Jonalyn Cerro, CAYO president.

A total of more than 750 FCAMP facilitators from different areas in CARAGA attended the seminars. Participants expressed their gratitude and excitement for the knowledge and experiences they gained from the events. They shared that they are looking forward to applying their learnings in the upcoming FCAMP activities in their respective districts.

"We are grateful to see young people’s burning desire to be used in the ministry and have shown their commitment to becoming responsible movers in their respective districts," said Nelo M. Seda Jr., youth director of Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NEMM).

Consequently, FCAMP Facilitators’ Certification Seminar aims to equip the youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to become responsible movers of God’s good news. With the success of this year's event, the Seventh-Day Adventist church hopes to continue organizing such activities to promote youth development and empowerment.

𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮!

Join our basketball and volleyball tryouts on April 30, 2023 at Northeastern Mindanao Academy (NEMA) in preparation for the upcoming Youth Congress 2023. Game on! 🏀🏐

𝐌𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

1. Registration - Participants must register for the tryout by filling out a form with their personal information and contact details. The registration form should also include a recommendation from the participant’s membership.

2. Warm-up - Before the tryout begins, participants should be given time to warm up and stretch to prevent injuries.

3. Skill assessment - The tryout should include a series of skill assessments to evaluate the participant's abilities in the sport. This may include drills like shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense for basketball, and serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and defense for volleyball.

4. Scrimmage - To evaluate the participant's performance in a game situation, a scrimmage should be included in the tryout. This will allow coaches to assess the participant's decision-making, teamwork, and overall performance in a game-like situation.

5. Evaluation - After the tryout, coaches should evaluate the participant's performance and skills based on a predetermined set of criteria. Participants should be graded on their skills, athleticism, attitude, and potential.

6. Selection - Based on the evaluation, coaches should then select the participants who will be invited to join the team. Depending on the number of available spots, coaches may choose to cut some participants from the team.

7. Announcement - Finally, the selected participants should be notified of their acceptance to the team and provided with details on the team's practice schedule and upcoming games or tournaments.

8. Teams - You are FREE to form your own team regardless of district or church membership as long as all of you are ADVENTIST YOUTH.
