Please be advised that May 27, 2026 (Wednesday) is declared a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Eid’l Adha, (Feast of Sacrifice), pursuant to Proclamation No. 1264.

There will be no classes and office transactions on that date. Please also be reminded that the University’s operating hours next week will be 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including Friday.

Urians, as a community that values diversity and inclusivity, let us extend our warmest greetings of peace, unity, and solitude to our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Today, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Butuan joyfully celebrates the Fiesta of St. Joseph Cathedral Diocesan Shrine, the Mother Church of the Diocese of Butuan, in honor of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary and Patron of the Universal Church.

As the Cathedral of the Diocese, this celebration becomes a gathering of faith and communion for the entire local Church of Butuan.

Through the fatherly intercession of St. Joseph, may the Diocese of Butuan continue to grow as a Church rooted in prayer, mission, and communion.

In view of our current 4-day workweek, office operations and transactions will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including Friday.

On April 25, 2026, during the Parangal 2026, FSUU honored all our Urian board passers. Today, we are proud to present the inspiring words of Bimbo G. Janerol. His time at FSUU inspired him to let his light shine by helping others, regardless of where they come from or what they have. Mr. Janerol is proof that an Urian nurse has a mind that seeks truth, hands ready to serve, and a quiet understanding that our light is never meant for ourselves alone.

We thank their ever-supportive dean, Dr. Tarcisio B. Candog, Jr., and to the entire Nursing Program (NP) faculty and staff for their tireless guidance and commitment for each and every one of our Urian nurses. We also thank the proud parents, guardians, friends, and loved ones for their forever love and support.

Admission Exams for the 1st Semester of S.Y. 2026-2027 for Incoming College Freshmen, Graduate Studies, and College of Law students are now ongoing.
