The Roman Catholic Diocese of Butuan officially announces that the PAX TECUM / PAHALOK activity conducted by the Diocesan Altar Servers has formally concluded as of January 2.

Please be informed that there have been reports of individuals wearing vestments who continue to conduct PAX TECUM / PAHALOK beyond this date. We hereby clarify that these persons are NOT connected, nor recognized by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Butuan or its Altar Servers Ministry.

For the guidance and protection of our parishioners, we respectfully advise everyone to exercise discernment and to verify first with your parish or diocesan offices regarding official church activities.

Let us remain united in vigilance and cooperation as we safeguard the integrity of our diocesan ministries.

Today, as we celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints, we honor not only the great saints of the Church but also those who once knelt and served at the altar — our Altar Server Saints.

Their humble service became a path to holiness, reminding us that even the smallest act of love offered to God can lead us to heaven.
