Sermon Title: Trusting in The Faithfulness of God
Text: Lamentations 3:22–23
“Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

1. We Trust God’s Faithfulness Because of His Unchanging Nature
Malachi 3:6
“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”
Hebrews 13:8
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”
2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.”
2. We Trust God’s Faithfulness Because He Keeps His Promises
Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
Joshua 21:45
“Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.”
3. We Trust God’s Faithfulness Because He Never Forsakes His People
Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”
Hebrews 10:23
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
4. We Trust in God’s Faithfulness Because He Sustains Us Through Every Trial
1 Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”
5. We Trust in God’s Faithfulness Because He Forgives Us
1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
6. We Trust in God’s Faithfulness Because He Will Complete What He Has Started in Us
Philippians 1:6
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Part 102
